Qiao's mother and Qiao Zhen helped Qiao's father into the bedroom, while Qiao's mother stayed inside to take care of him.
Qiao Zhen came out to greet Ming Zhao, complaining, "Weren't you just trying to be clever? Why didn't you try that when it came to drinking? Mingzhao lowered his head in apology, rubbed his hands on his knees a few times, stood up and went into Mr. and Mrs. Qiao's bedroom. "Auntie, I'm sorry for causing you both trouble. I didn't think straight at the time." He bowed ninety degrees to apologize to his future mother-in-law.
