An Zhao's face instantly flushed red. He awkwardly raised his head and touched his lips, which Qiao Zhen had kissed, with his finger. Words of protest swirled in his throat, finally settling into a haughty snort: "Hmph! That's not true..."
He could feel how weak he was when he said the last four words, yet he stubbornly insisted, "Who can say for sure what one likes?"
Qiao Zhen knew her lover's character perfectly well. She looked at An Zhao with a half-smile and said, "The announcement is urging us to board quickly, or we'll be late."
An's father took An Zhao away.
Yao Qingsi's eyes were blurry with tears, but Qiao Zhen showed no sympathy for her. She left with Qiao's mother.
Chu Chu was also transported there by An's father's private plane within half a month and often stayed by An Zhao's side.
