As Qiao Zhen had predicted, she returned to the Regent's Palace to bathe, change clothes, and drink ginger soup, but the next day she still had a fever and a cold, and it came on fiercely, making Shen Xiaobao cry her eyes out.
Qiao Zhen was in a daze for three days and three nights. When she woke up, she asked Chu Chu for a candy bean because the original owner's constitution was really too poor.
When Qiao Zhen was finally able to stand up, she went out to look for Shen Zhao, only to see Shen Zhao and Cheng Yao'er being all lovey-dovey. She almost couldn't catch her breath.

Shen Zhao frowned. "What are you doing here?"
Cheng Yao'er put away her coquettish smile, her face showing no sign of guilt. Instead, she looked at Qiao Zhen with a slightly provocative gaze. "Your Highness, since Madam Qiao has arrived, Yao'er will take her leave now."
Shen Zhao kept her there, saying, "She's the one who should leave, why are you leaving?" He looked at Qiao Zhen, "What are you doing here? Questioning you about things that are baseless?"
Qiao Zhen's eyes widened. She knew she couldn't defend herself now, but instead of getting angry, she laughed and said, "You must be living in a dream."
A fool immersed in fake love.
Shen Zhao did not think deeply about Qiao Zhen's words, or perhaps he felt that Qiao Zhen was bluffing.
Qiao Zhen went straight back to her small courtyard. Now the little emperor and Shen Xiaobao were her most powerful weapons. She would not stop until she had tormented Shen Zhao to the point of unbearable pain!
