Zhou Ziqi's tone was somewhat unfriendly. Seeing the awkward atmosphere in the room, she took a deep breath before slowly saying, "Be careful next time. I'll go pour the wine again."
"I'm sorry, it's my fault. How about I go instead?"
Xiang Wan tried to grab the tray, but in the process, she accidentally soaked Zhou Ziqi's clothes.
"You—" Zhou Ziqi's face turned ashen with anger, "Li Ying, aren't you coming over to help!"
They were making a complete mess of things, but Li Ying seemed oblivious, simply watching from the sidelines. Zhou Ziqi couldn't stand it anymore and revealed her true colors, startling the two girls.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to." Xiang Wan pretended to be scared and cried, but Zhou Ziqi ignored her and had Li Ying accompany her to the bathroom to change clothes.
"Why aren't you leaving? There's something wrong with them," Xiang Wan whispered to the two girls.
The two girls looked surprised and somewhat disbelieving, so Xiang Wan had to continue, "Listen, I'm a police officer. I've been undercover for three years, specializing in catching criminals who abduct women. You're in danger right now. Go down the stairs immediately and don't alert them."
After hearing this, the two looked flustered and hurriedly asked, "We're leaving, what about you? Do you need help calling the police?"
"No need, we've already located them. You guys hurry up and leave. I'll say you're going to the toilet to buy you time to escape before we make our move."
"Okay, sure."
Without any further movement, the two grabbed their bags and hurriedly ran out.
When Li Ying and Zhou Ziqi came out, they only saw Xiang Wan cleaning up the spilled wine, and asked, "Why are you the only one here? Where are the other two?"
Xiang Wan looked up and replied, "They said their stomachs hurt and they went to the toilet."
Zhou Ziqi frowned, glanced around, and then shouted sharply, "You're lying! Where's the toilet on this floor? Did they leave?"
"Heh, with such clumsy acting, do you think they would have stayed and waited to be outmaneuvered by you if they hadn't run away?"
Xiang Wan slowly stood up, her eyes filled with coldness.
