The cheers of the people around her soared into the sky. Xiang Wan kept encouraging herself until she finally had the courage to step into the main hall.
The bright red groom's attire accentuated Qu Chiyang's handsome features and extraordinary bearing. His long, black hair was tied back, and his mask had been removed, revealing the face that had once been seen only by her to the public. The eyes that had gazed at her countless times were now silently watching the person opposite him.
The person standing beside him, wearing a phoenix coronet and wedding robes, had her face obscured by a beaded curtain, but Xiang Wan could clearly see that this was Zhuang Aoxue. No one else could imitate her figure and posture!

She guessed the beginning, but not the end. She wasn't truly heartbroken, only filled with endless sorrow, and seeing the scene before her was so jarring.
They held hands and looked at each other with smiles. From then on, they shared a bed and whispered sweet nothings to each other. From then on, they were husband and wife, supporting each other. And she was completely erased from their lives, without leaving a trace.
Qu Chiyang's doting on her was once so real and so heartwarming, but when she was abandoned, it was so cruel and so hard to accept!

Slowly calming her turbulent thoughts, Xiang Wan began to recall the moments she had shared with Qiu Rui, imagining that the person before her was Qiu Rui, and Qiu Rui was Qu Chiyang. And at this moment, he hadn't told her anything before marrying someone else. Her heart clenched, and a searing pain instantly engulfed her entire body. All reason was overwhelmed by the agony, and Xiang Wan could no longer maintain her stance. Her throat tightened, and then she spat out a mouthful of blood, which splattered onto the crimson carpet and vanished without a trace, as if it had never existed. Only the blood at the corner of her mouth remained, dripping slowly down her cheeks.
"Why, why?"
Xiang Wan screamed until her voice was hoarse, her eyes red, but her gaze remained fixed on Qu Chiyang, unwavering. If he was Qiu Rui, and Qiu Rui was him, Xiang Wan absolutely refused to accept this outcome! Absolutely not!
"You said you would plant peach blossoms all over the mountains for me, drink wine and admire the moon with me, and travel all over the country with me. Were you lying to me?"
If you don't love me, don't promise me everything and spoil me all the time! I thought you loved me, but now it seems like nothing but a joke.
Xiang Wan walked slowly forward, her steps faltering. She had never imagined that the pain would be so intense that she could barely walk. But she couldn't give up; she had come this far!
"Young Master Zhuang, today is the sect leader's wedding, please don't cause trouble."
"Exactly, why can't we just talk things out instead of having to do it now?"
Even if the leader gets married, you can still stay by his side.
Some of her acquaintances tried to persuade her to be sensible, but Xiang Wan ignored them all and walked straight towards Qu Chiyang.
"They said I could stay by your side, ha, how ridiculous. After all this time, don't you understand my feelings? My heart is too small; it can only hold one person. If you insist on keeping me here, then leave me with my corpse. Master, are you satisfied now?"
Finally arriving in front of Qu Chiyang, Xiang Wan was too exhausted to even speak. She had never felt so tired before.
From the moment Xiang Wan appeared, Qu Chiyang kept his eyes on Zhuang Aoxue, but his peripheral vision remained fixed on Xiang Wan until she coughed up blood. His gaze never left Xiang Wan for a moment, and he just kept watching her until she walked up to him.
Zhuang Xiangwan was the first person to move his heart! He never imagined that someone would treat him so gently when he was in a state of demonic possession and had lost his mind. Those eyes were not infatuated with his appearance, but looked at him with concern and carefully healed his wounds.
