Accompanied by the wedding march, Ye Zhi Qiu, arm in arm with Zeng Yi, walked step by step towards the wedding stage. The venue had been completely decorated; in the center of the lawn, flowers, lights, and colorful balloons adorned the entire space beautifully. Especially at night, soft lighting illuminated the red carpet as the bride and groom slowly walked in, like a prince and princess from a dream. However, in Xiang Wan's eyes, this seemingly perfectly matched couple looked awkward no matter how she looked at them, like demons in human skin, ready to tear away their perfect facade and devour their victims at any moment.
Xiang Wan was slightly lost in thought when a hand quietly reached out, pinched her chin, and turned her head away.
"You like this kind of wedding, don't you?"
Rui was very close to her, his breath hitting her face. The dim light shone from behind him, and Xiang Wan couldn't see his eyes clearly. She couldn't help but tilt her head and lean back, saying, "Nothing special, I don't care."
Rui chuckled softly, reached out and took her hand, playing with it in his own palm.
Xiang Wan tried to pull it out several times, but couldn't, so she just let it go.
Zeng Yi and Ye Zhi Qiu approached the host, and the lights began to change. Several main seats were illuminated by lights, which perfectly revealed the figures of Ye and Zeng's parents, as well as Xiang Wan and Rui.
Ye's parents looked somewhat agitated, their hands clasped tightly together. Ye Zhi Qiu, her face veiled, kept her gaze fixed on Xiang Wan. Seeing her interaction with Rui, she blinked, seemingly lost in thought. Zeng Yi, on the other hand, smiled gently, his expression completely different from when he had treated Xiang Wan earlier.
These people are all masters of acting. Xiang Wan's lips curled slightly, and she provocatively raised her chin at Zeng Yi, raised an eyebrow, opened her mouth slightly, and slowly swept her delicate tongue across her lips. Zeng Yi remained silent for a long time without answering, glancing at Xiang Wan out of the corner of his eye.
Xiang Wan maintained her smile, wanting to see Zeng Yi's reaction. Rui Chong, standing beside her, gave Zeng Yi a provocative smile, then suddenly reached out and turned Xiang Wan's head around, sealing her mouth with his lips.
The sudden kiss left Xiang Wan stunned. She quickly realized what was happening and tried to push Rui away, but then she heard his voice in her ear, "Weren't we supposed to be acting? Don't move, I'll stay with you!"
With just a touch of lips, without any other movement, Xiang Wan remained still. She only heard a murmur around her before Rui pulled her up and turned her around to stand behind him.
When he came to his senses and looked again, Zeng Yi was already standing face to face with Rui. Rui was holding his wrist tightly, not allowing him to touch Xiang Wan at all.
Looking at the wedding stage again, a white figure quickly ran over, circled around to Xiang Wan's side, and raised his hand to slap her, but Xiang Wan blocked it with lightning speed.
Ye Zhi Qiu ripped off her veil and yelled at Xiang Wan, "You vixen, trying to seduce my husband? No way!"
As she spoke, Ye Zhi Qiu tried to step forward again, raising both hands to tear off Xiang Wan's clothes.
When women fight, they either pinch or scratch. Xiang Wan wasn't going to let her have her way. The smile on her lips never stopped. She dodged Ye Zhi Qiu and led her through the crowd of guests, while constantly adding more food to her mouth.
"Sister, I'm Zhi Qiu, your only younger sister. How could I be a vixen?"
"I came all the way here to attend your wedding. You are all my closest relatives. Why are you targeting me?"
"Is your brother-in-law too much of a womanizer? He can't take his eyes off any pretty girl he sees, so I've become your imagined rival too?"
"Sister, look carefully, I'm your own sister, not a vixen!"
"Sis, I understand you have pre-wedding jitters, but this is your wedding day. Don't let others laugh at you."
"Stop right now! How can we hold the wedding like this?"
Ye Zhi Qiu was preoccupied with revenge, and seeing Zeng Yi constantly trying to get close to Xiang Wan, she became so stubborn that she couldn't care less about anything else.

The Ye and Zeng families were stunned by Xiang Wan and Ye Zhi Qiu's behavior and couldn't help but look at each other in bewilderment. Ye's mother was so anxious that she burst into tears, and Ye's father found a few young people to help separate Xiang Wan and Ye Zhi Qiu and prevent them from running around.
When Xiang Wan saw that Ye Zhi Qiu was being stopped, she turned around and ran into Ye's mother's arms, crying very sadly.
"Mommy, does my sister not like me anymore? I came all the way here for her wedding to be with her during the most important moment of her life. How could she treat me like this? We're the closest of sisters. What's wrong with her? My heart is breaking. She even called me a vixen! I don't want to live anymore. I'd rather just kill myself! Waaaaah!"
Despite her own emotions, Ye's mother comforted Xiang Wan, telling her not to overthink it. Ye Zhi Qiu, however, couldn't calm down even when being held captive. He looked at Xiang Wan as if she were his enemy, and his eyes were red.
"Why did you come back? If you were dead, the whole world would be at peace. You devil, trying to steal my Yi-ge? Dream on! I will never let you have your way! Dad, arrest her! She's not Ye Zhi Qiu, some slut who appeared out of nowhere. Don't be fooled by her. Interrogate her thoroughly, and also that man who appeared out of nowhere. They're here for revenge, they definitely are! Don't let any of them escape, arrest them all!"
Xiang Wan's tears were still wet on her face, streaming down her cheeks, her eyes filled with disbelief and pain.
"What's wrong with you? Am I not Ye Zhi Qiu, or am I still Ye Xiang Wan? It's only been a little over two months since we last met, and you don't recognize me? The last time we parted was in Daishan. We climbed the mountain together. You slipped, and I pulled you back. You lost your phone, and I helped you find it. We grew up together. Everything we ate, wore, and used was always shared equally, even saving some for you. If you wanted anything, just say the word, and I'd give it to you. I always thought we were the closest people in the world, that no one could separate us. I treated you with all my heart, thinking of you constantly, no matter when or where. Yet you treat me like an enemy. Why? Why?"
