Chapter 430 Turning That Orc Gay (19)

"Ah Cong, do you really think the third brother is alright?"

Bai Er eagerly asked, his eyes burning with the fire of gossip.

Three pairs of eyes looked at Shi Cong at the same time. He looked around and nodded uncertainly, thinking to himself, "Why are the Bai brothers so... well, so unconventional?"

"Don't you feel awkward being around him?"

Bai raised an eyebrow. It was his own brother, so giving him a heads-up beforehand was a way of doing right by his third brother.

"Difficult? How could that be?"

Just ignore it, Shi Cong silently added in his mind.

"If you have to face it for a lifetime, won't you get tired of it?"

Xiang Wan blinked, eagerly anticipating what Shi Cong would say next.

This indirect, sarcastic, and cynical look made Shi Cong wary.

Looking back at Bai San, and then at the three gossipy eyes of the others, Shi Cong thought carefully about the conversation they had just had, and suddenly he understood why they were so enthusiastic towards him.

It seems that the attribute of "bromance" will exist in every era.

What do you think?

Seeing Xiang Wan's expectant expression, Shi Cong gave an ambiguous answer.

Although he didn't know where this inexplicable feeling for the person in front of him came from, it didn't stop him from continuing to approach. If those brats didn't find anyone, perhaps he could take Xiang Wan as a follower and keep her by his side for company.

In Xiang Wan's view, no refusal meant tacit agreement. The three of them smiled contentedly and gave Bai San approving glances. The latter, still angry, turned his head away and ignored them completely.

White Ox emerged from the woods and caught up with the group. Seeing his three sons walking and laughing with Shi Cong, his mood instantly soured. "When we get back, I'll definitely give them each a good beating!"

Someone had already gone back to the clan to report the news, and when Xiang Wan and her group arrived, the entire clan ran out to greet them. Bai Yuhu was the first to rush out, leaping directly onto the white bear and nearly knocking it to the ground, which drew laughter from everyone.

The other orcs, those with spouses, immediately embraced theirs; those without spouses headed towards their families. The white bull didn't even need the white girl to come over; he simply scooped her up and ran home, leaving everyone else behind.

Xiang Wan was speechless. With such a lousy father, it was no wonder he raised such children. Her older sisters, on the other hand, flocked over with boundless enthusiasm. The eldest, second, and third sisters, along with Xiang Wan, remained reservedly in place, waiting for their sisters' warm embraces.

Her arm was still outstretched when a gust of wind blew past her ear, but the warmth she had imagined didn't come. Turning around, she saw her group of girls all gathered around Shi Cong, chattering and gossiping, their enthusiasm something Xiang Wan swore she had never seen in her life.

The other females, who were initially too shy to approach, followed suit when they saw Bai Si and the others go over, crowding around them and discussing the scene, making it even more lively than a vegetable market.

Bai San was on the verge of a breakdown. He saw Bai Hua, the girl he'd always secretly loved next door, her eyes glued to Shi Cong. He knew this would happen! He should have just ensnared her in animal hide and brought her home that night. Poor Bai Hua, she'd been fooled by Shi Cong's good looks.

Shi Cong is a menace. We can't let him get close to his daughter, Ahua. What if he corrupts her?

Looking at Bai Hua and then at Xiang Wan, Bai San made a decision. For the sake of his lifelong happiness, it shouldn't be a big deal to wrong his youngest son a little. He could always find him a spouse later.

Okay, that's decided.

Bai San acted immediately, squeezing into the crowd and blocking Shi Cong behind him, shouting, "What are you all doing, pushing like this? What about the rules of our fox clan? What about the manners of females? This is a guest invited by my youngest brother. What kind of behavior is this? Aren't you afraid of disgracing the fox clan?"

A moment of silence fell over the crowd. Then someone shouted, "Whoever sees it gets it!" The females all reached out and quickly pulled Bai San away. Xiang Wan clearly saw that Bai Si and her group were the ones pulling the hardest.

Xiang Wan silently covered her face. These females were too ferocious. Luckily, she wasn't the robust type, otherwise... just thinking about it was terrifying.

Bai Da and Bai Er looked at Bai San with sympathy. Their chosen spouse was too popular, and they felt sorry for Bai San.

The eldest brother walked over and patted the third brother on the shoulder, telling him not to be discouraged. The second brother walked over and patted the third brother on the shoulder, indicating that he was on the third brother's side.

Xiang Wan gave the third brother a sympathetic look. He couldn't even win against the males, let alone the females. How was he going to live in the future?

Bai San was inexplicably given sympathy by his own brother, and you can imagine how upset he was. Especially when he saw Bai Hua reach out and almost touch Shi Cong's pectoral muscles, damn it, this was simply unbearable. His eyes reddened, and he roared, "A Bao, someone's bullying your brother!"

The saber-toothed leopard had already unloaded its sled and was resting not far from the fox clan's settlement. Suddenly, it heard someone calling its name, a voice somewhat similar to Xiang Wan's, seemingly a little angry. Whether it was real or not, its partner absolutely could not be bullied, so it immediately stood up and let out a domineering roar, startling the birds and beasts in the forest into fleeing in panic.

The females were stunned, then screamed and fled home. Some of the males who remained in the tribe grabbed their weapons and ran out.

The males, who had just entered the house and hadn't even had a chance to get down to business, were almost paralyzed with fear. They rushed out angrily, eager to see which bastard dared to anger the hunting team's guardian deity and chop him down!

Bai San, who had unintentionally provoked public anger, glared at Shi Cong with a resentful look. He curled his lips and thought to himself that he was quite quick-witted. If Shi Cong dared to seduce Bai Hua again, he would release Hu Bao directly.
