"Squad leader, why don't we let Xiao Ming eat something first? Drinking on an empty stomach is bad for his stomach."
Gan Xiaochen's intervention to shield Xiao Ming from the alcohol made things somewhat awkward.

After taking her seat, Xiang Wan was surprised that Gan Xiaochen would offer her a toast right away.
