Chapter 480 Taboo (Part Two)

In reality, everyone unconsciously maintains a safe distance when facing strangers, some more, some less. But Cui Shiwan is different; her so-called safe distance is entirely based on chemistry. Xiang Wan happened to be sitting on the edge of her safe distance, making her subconsciously want to move away, yet feeling it was unnecessary.

A flicker of hesitation crossed Cui Shiwan's eyes, only to be concealed by her turning her head to the side.

"Kevin, how old are you this year?"

"Miss Wan, you shouldn't ask a woman's age. Do you think it's appropriate for a man like me to ask that as soon as we meet?"

Xiang Wan unscrewed a bottle of beer with her bare hands, handed it to Cui Shiwan, opened another bottle for herself, touched the bottle in Cui Shiwan's hand, and then drank it down.

Cui Shiwan was used to people being very polite to her, and this was the first time she had been rejected as soon as she opened her mouth. A hint of displeasure flashed in her eyes, but she quickly concealed it.

If he doesn't like her, why would he still ask her to accompany him? He must have something on his mind, and it's something big.

After taking several gulps, Xiang Wan placed the bottle on the coffee table. Her moist lips, illuminated by the soft light, resembled ripe cherries, attracting much attention.

Cui Shiwan glanced at him unconsciously a few times, then caught a glimpse of Xiang Wan's ambiguous smile. She picked up the wine bottle and took a sip to cover up her momentary embarrassment.

Xiang Wan leaned closer and whispered in her ear, "Miss Wan, you are like my dream girl."

Cui Shiwan had a mouthful of wine in her mouth when she suddenly heard Xiang Wan's words. She forgot to swallow and choked, tears streaming down her face.

Xiang Wan raised her hand and gently patted her back, smiling, "Don't be nervous, I won't tell anyone."

Cui Shiwan finally stopped coughing, stared at Xiang Wan for a long time, and said sarcastically, "If all the living advertisements were as glib as you, I don't think this club would be any good."

Xiang Wan curled her lips into a sneer and said coldly, "If all customers were like you, nitpicking like an egg, they would be kicked out sooner or later."
