After hanging up the phone, He Yi secretly gave the middle finger towards the office. They always bring up his girlfriend; are they taking advantage of him because he's single?
He Yi went to find someone to do something, but Cui Shiwan was lost in thought the whole way and almost rear-ended someone.
When he arrived at the Xingyao Hotel and saw Zhang Jing, a cold smile crept onto his lips.
"Mr. Cui, your phone has been switched off since yesterday, and there are many things I haven't had a chance to consult you about. I've handled some on my own, and others require your personal attention. I've made a note of them all. Would you like to come upstairs with me now to review them?"
Zhang Jing was dressed in a smart navy blue suit, but because of her large movements and her full figure, it looked like she couldn't quite pull it off.
Cui Shiwan handed the car keys to the security guard at the gate and said as she walked away, "No rush, these things will have to be dealt with sooner or later. I have more important work to give you now."
"Please speak, I'm listening."
"Go to the mall and pick out some suitable gifts for my elders. I'm going to visit the Lou family."
"Okay, Mr. Cui, are there any requirements regarding the cost?"
"It doesn't need to be too expensive, just enough to show my sincerity."
"Yes, I'll go right away."
Zhang Jing escorted Cui Shiwan to the hotel elevator, then turned and walked out.
Cui Shiwan entered the elevator, watched the doors slowly close, turned around, crossed her arms, stared at the mirror in the elevator, her eyes devoid of any warmth.
