George raised his chin, rolled his eyes at Takagi, and said, "She was the captain all along."
Seeing that Song Yang and the others were in agreement, Takagi changed the subject, saying, "We're talking about future plans now. Lacey is indeed our captain for now, I admit that, but what about later? We can't live on this ship forever, can we?"
"When ships traverse star systems, they need resupply and maintenance. We also need to communicate with the outside world. Perhaps the military didn't intentionally abandon Red Star, but rather there have been unforeseen circumstances. These are all unpredictable. Have you considered these issues?"
