Chapter 598 The Sea Monster Alliance (Part 1)

"Glug glug, why isn't Little Bubble awake yet?"

"Gurgle, be quiet, maybe it wants something to eat."

"Its mouth is so small that even my tentacles can't fit inside."

"Hmm, how about we call the Sirens over?"

"Or, well, never mind, the sirens might prefer to eat it."

"Glug, glug glug..."

The phone kept ringing in my ears, making it hard for me to sleep.

As Xiang Wan rolled over, her arm bumped into something sharp, and she felt a numbness in her arm, which woke her up with a sharp pain.

Before she could even catch her breath, she was lifted into the air, a sticky tentacle touched her arm, and then she heard an excited voice: "Children, come quick, come quick, it's red inside."

A swarm of octopuses suddenly appeared, completely surrounding Xiang Wan. Several octopuses even extended their tentacles and pressed them against her arm, only to be quickly engulfed by the countless tentacles, which then licked the tentacles that had touched her arm into their mouths.

Then came a series of "Ptooey!" sounds, and a few soft voices shouting, "It stinks! It doesn't taste good at all!"

"Really? Let me try it."

The arm and leg, as thick as Xiang Wan's waist, coiled around her and pulled her downwards. After a few shakes, it successfully made Xiang Wan dizzy. She only saw a row of sharp teeth constantly approaching and moving away, approaching and moving away, before she was put aside.

"I couldn't taste any flavor at all."

"Mom, you can try poking a hole."

"Hmm, if I poke it, it shouldn't die, right?"

"Glug glug, that's enough. These little bubbles aren't even as big as your arms and legs, they're not for eating."

"Oh, okay."

After feeling dizzy for a while, Xiang Wan came to her senses and saw the scene in front of her, and she really didn't know how to describe it.

Have you ever seen a giant octopus? The octopus in front of me has eyes a meter in diameter. And the tentacle that just wrapped around her is the thinnest of all her tentacles.

Have you ever seen a giant clam shell? Right behind her was one, the crack between the two shells wide enough to swallow her whole. Xiang Wan could see countless glittering pearls inside, thicker than her head.

There was a group of small octopuses, each about the size of a fist, all perched on the tentacles of the large octopus, staring at her with wide eyes.

Looking at myself again, I'm still a baby who can't walk, and it's difficult for me to even stand up.

Oh, no, in the sea, she can stand up and has two legs. But what's with the red bellyband she's wearing? Her head is completely bald, and her limbs are completely bare too.

Xiang Wan was certain that she was human, yet she lived without any pressure in the deep sea, and even had the leisure to observe her surroundings.

She was either dreaming or trapped in a hallucination. How could an ordinary person possibly live in the deep sea?!

Blinking and looking around, Xiang Wan could sense that these sea creatures meant her no harm. But their dark eyes staring straight at her made her feel uneasy.

"Oh, Little Bubble, you're awake?"

A surprised sound came from the large clam shell behind him. As the shell opened and closed, a current of water pushed Xiang Wan to the front of the giant octopus.

As soon as the giant octopus's tentacles moved, Xiang Wan quickly swam back. Her little arms and legs couldn't move, so the giant octopus gave her a push.

"Little Bubble looks like a Siren when she was young."

"It's so small. I wonder if the siren will change her mind and choose it as her mate when it grows up."

Xiang Wan was speechless. These sea creatures were discussing making her a mate for some siren right in front of her. Were they taking advantage of her inability to speak?

As soon as Xiang Wan opened her mouth, she let out a soft and adorable "ah ah" sound, so innocent that even she couldn't bear to listen to it.

Transmigrating into the body of an infant, an infant who hadn't even grown all his teeth yet, unable to speak or swim, Xiang Wan felt genuinely frustrated.

She silently made another note to the system in her mind, and a wave of drowsiness washed over her. Xiang Wan felt like her whole body was screaming for sleep.

The situation was unclear, and she didn't want to sleep, especially since her stomach was rumbling.

"Glug glug, do you have anything to eat? Little Bubble is hungry."

"Yes, I'll go catch it right away."

With a flick of its giant octopus tentacles, everything went black. The rising silt took a long time to settle.

Before long, the giant octopus presented Xiang Wan with a colorful fish that was as big as an adult.

"It's so big, it's enough for Little Bubble to eat for a week."

The fish's mouth was still opening and closing, but it dared not move an inch because of the giant octopus's tentacles.

As evening approached, he used both his hands and feet to get away from the fish.

She was terrified that she might accidentally have the fish sucked into her mouth.

The giant octopus tried to push it forward, but Xiang Wan simply turned her head away and covered her mouth with both hands, her refusal quite obvious.

"Glug glug, Little Bubble might not like eating fish."

"Wait, I'll give you another one."

The giant octopus opened its mouth and stuffed the fish directly into it. Xiang Wan could even hear the crunching sound coming from its mouth. It was so ferocious that she didn't dare to look.

The giant octopus returned, this time bringing back a sea serpent. It had black and white stripes, and its body was almost as large as Xiang Wan's.

The snake kept slithering forward, and you could see its sharp teeth.

Xiang Wan quickly turned around, hugged the large clam shell, and looked visibly resistant.

"Okay, I'll go look again."

Next, the giant octopus searched for and devoured a variety of animals, including lobsters, crabs, sharks, conches, lionfish, and ribbonfish, before finally ending up in its own mouth.

Finally, the giant octopus burped and said sleepily, "I'm not looking anymore, I'm going to take a nap."
