When she woke up again, she was in a spacious bedroom, wearing a wedding dress, sitting in front of a makeup mirror, with a makeup artist applying her makeup.
"Miss, your complexion is very good, you don't need to apply concealer. I'll apply some light makeup for you, and add a little highlighter to your eyelids, which will bring out your natural beauty."
The makeup artist spoke gently and with a smile, examining Xiang Wan's face as she spoke.

Sometimes, seeing how much she doted on her younger brother, they would even joke that when she got married, her brother could be taken with her as part of her dowry.
What started as a joke turned out to be a self-fulfilling prophecy. Xiang Wan met Nangong Chen, the son of the Nangong family, at her university graduation ball. The Nangong family, which started in the military industry, provided combat equipment and supplies to most of the country's armed forces, boasting an incredibly powerful background. The graduation ball invited many influential business leaders and government officials to give speeches. Xiang Wan's excellent graduation thesis caught Nangong Chen's attention, leading to her joining the Nangong Group. Nangong Chen was handsome and possessed a tough-guy aura, making him very popular with women. Within the Nangong Group, he was the object of desire for all single and married women. Yet, he never engaged in any intimate behavior with any woman, further solidifying his image as a remarkably self-controlled and eligible bachelor.
Xiang Wan had only been working at the company for a few days when Nangong Chen frequently asked her out, causing quite a bit of gossip among her female colleagues. Xiang Wan initially resisted, but Nangong Chen seemed completely unconcerned, always specifically requesting her to accompany him when they went out to eat. For Xiang Wan, who was just starting out in the workforce, this honor was incredibly meaningful, and Nangong Chen was very gentlemanly, always taking good care of her when they were together. Before long, Xiang Wan fell in love with Nangong Chen.
During their dates, Xiang Wan wanted her younger brother to get to know his future brother-in-law beforehand, so she brought Liu Zixi along. The brother-in-law and sister-in-law got along very well, and Xiang Wan was secretly pleased, thinking they were compatible. Afterwards, Liu Zixi was always present on their dates, and sometimes, when they were alone, Nangong Chen would even ask about her. Xiang Wan jokingly suggested that if they got married, Zixi should move in with them as part of her dowry. Nangong Chen paused for a moment, then his smile deepened, and he nodded in agreement.
Not long after, Nangong Chen proposed to her at the company with a diamond ring and flowers. Amidst the cheers of her colleagues, Xiang Wan accepted the proposal, thinking that she would have a happy life from now on, but little did she know that it was the beginning of a nightmare.
Liu's parents truly loved her, sending her off on her wedding day with tears in their eyes. They gave her most of their savings as a dowry, fearing she would be mistreated after marriage. After the grand wedding, Nangong Chen only entered the bedroom on the wedding day. Afterwards, he used being busy with work as an excuse to often return to the villa very late, or even sleep directly in the study. The original owner had unspeakable suffering. Under her parents' earnest expectations, she dared not tell the truth, for fear of displeasing the two elders. Sometimes she would bring her younger brother over for private conversations. When Nangong Chen was mentioned, her brother would defend her, often jokingly saying that it was he who should have married into the family. Hearing this, her brother's cheeks would flush red, but the original owner didn't sense anything amiss, simply assuming her brother couldn't take a joke.
After marrying Nangong Chen, the original owner of this body stopped working and focused on being a housewife. At first, she thought Nangong Chen was genuinely busy with work and worried about his health, so she prepared various soups and meals for him every day. Until one day, on a whim, she decided to surprise Nangong Chen with some nourishing soup she had made, and without prior notice, she went to the CEO's office.
Everyone around knew she was Mrs. Nangong and greeted her warmly. She made her way to Nangong Chen's office without any hindrance. He wasn't inside, so the original owner decided to wait for him. She went to the break room in the office cubicle and, as she waited, drowsiness overcame her and she drifted off to sleep.
Half asleep, she seemed to hear noises in the office. She listened carefully and thought she could hear her younger brother's voice. She was happy; her brother and brother-in-law getting along well was exactly what she wanted. Thinking this, she sat up and quietly opened the door, wanting to surprise her husband and brother, but instead found them embracing.
"Zixi, you little vixen, the moment I saw you, I wanted to pin you down."
Nangong Chen kissed Liu Zixi's neck, his breathing heavy.
"No, please don't do this, brother-in-law!" Liu Zixi said, feigning reluctance. "How can I face my sister if you do this?"
"Your sister? Hmph, if it weren't for you, would I have married her?"
"When will this sneaking around ever end?"
"Little vixen, as long as you love me, I'll take care of everything else. Tell me, do you love me?"
"Mmm, I love you, I love you so much, brother-in-law!"
I really want to swallow you whole!
Their movements became increasingly intense, almost to the point of stripping off their clothes completely.
Upon seeing this scene, the original owner was as if struck by lightning, standing blankly by the door, forgetting how to react.
