Chapter 623 Vampire Hunter (Part Two)



Xiang Wan leaned against the wall, reached for the candle, and, taking advantage of the moment he lunged at her, stuck the candle into his eye.

Scalding hot wax smeared one of his eyes, and the vampire let out a shrill scream, then rammed his head into the evening.

The vampire servant wasn't particularly strong, but Xiang Wan's body was too useless. If she had learned the vampire hunter's techniques, even if she was only at the beginner level, she could have made him fly away.

Unfortunately, there were no hunters skilled enough to deal with vampires, so Xiang Wan could only let him bite one of her arms while she used the ice blade in her other hand to sever his neck.

Its head fell to the ground, still baring its teeth at her.

Xiang Wan simply plunged the ice blade into his heart, and then stomped his head, which had fallen to the ground, to pieces.

Seeing the vampire fall to the ground, Xiang Wan quickly covered her injured areas with ice and stumbled out of the dungeon.

Outside this dungeon, there was only a passageway, with stone bricks on both sides, offering no footholds.

Unable to do anything else, Xiang Wan conjured ice claws on her hands and feet, stretched out her limbs to brace against the wall, and climbed to the top of the tunnel, where she waited quietly.

The vampire's voice had already carried, and other vampires would arrive soon. A direct confrontation wasn't the solution; she needed to wait and ambush them to gain a better chance of victory.

Sure enough, not long after she climbed to the top, she saw another vampire walking over.

This time, Xiang Wan didn't wait for him to speak before leaping down from above and cleaving his head directly into his heart with a single strike, splitting him in two asymmetrically.

Then, she changed into the clothes of the previous vampire, dragged the two vampires together, hid them in a corner of the cell, closed the cell door, and walked out through the passageway.

Once outside, Xiang Wan realized just how safe the place she had been was.
