Chapter 668 A True Account of Ghost Detection (Part 4)

Wang Er closed his eyes tightly, clasped his hands together, and chanted incantations towards the base of the wall, "Namo Amitabha Buddha, may the Supreme Lord Laozi hasten his decree, may the Heavenly Venerable Taiyi vanquish demons and monsters, may the gods of heaven protect me, may evil spirits and ghosts not approach! The grievances have their perpetrators, the debts have their debtors, go find whoever you should, don't come looking for me. Heavenly spirits, earthly spirits, may the Supreme Lord Laozi protect me..."

"Wang Er! My body has been chopped into countless pieces, where did you throw them all?"

Dujuan whispered in his ear, and no matter how much Wang Er tried to deceive himself, he couldn't stop the icy, bone-chilling sound from reaching his ears and the damp, cold feeling close to his body.

Wang Er shuddered and hurriedly backed away, but his legs wouldn't obey him and he fell straight to the ground.

He opened his eyes, and there before him was Du Juan's battered, bloodied head, and he could still smell the stench of decaying corpse. A pair of black eyes, streaming with bloody tears, stared intently at him.

"Ah~~~ Who are you? I don't know you! I...I didn't kill anyone, don't look for me...Get away, get away from me..."

Wang Er braced himself on the ground with both hands and feet, retreating backward, cold sweat pouring down his forehead.

"Don't recognize me? Hahahaha... Wang Er, do you still remember Du Juan, the girl you raped? I'm back, I've come to find you. My parents are waiting for you in hell, come with me, okay?"

As Du Juan spoke, one of her eyeballs fell to the ground with a "plop," rolled to Wang Er's feet, and spun around.

"I didn't mean to... Don't look for me... Don't come looking for me..."

Wang Er's legs went weak with fear. He never expected that a person who had been dead for more than 20 years would still be a ghost!

"I've reserved a spot for you in the eighteen levels of hell. Are you coming?"

Du Juan reached out her hand, her pale palm slowly decaying into bones before Wang Er's eyes. An extremely foul stench made Wang Er want to vomit.

"Help...help me..."

Wang Er kicked his legs frantically, rolled to the side, scrambled to his feet, and ran away without caring where he was.

Du Juan laughed sinisterly behind him, her voice neither too close nor too far, "Hehehehe, Wang Er, come back here, there's a ghost ahead."

Wang Er was startled, and his legs began to tremble, but he didn't stop.

Du Juan flashed to his side and asked, "Where are you going?"

As she spoke, strands of Dujuan's hair fell out, and black spots began to appear on her grinning face. Her flesh slowly melted into rotting matter, dripping from her head. Before long, she was nothing but a skeleton.

Wang Er felt weak and powerless all over, and stumbled and fell to the ground. Before him was Du Juan's toe bone, half an inch off the ground.

"Run! Why have you stopped running?"

Wang Er looked up, and saw gleaming white teeth opening and closing before him. Suddenly, he felt a heat in his lower body, and a pungent smell filled the air.

Enraged, Wang Er scrambled to his feet and glared at Du Juan, gritting his teeth, "Come on then, come and eat me! Let me tell you, I could kill you twenty years ago, and I'm not afraid of you now! You're just a ghost, what can you do to me?"

It is said that when fear reaches its extreme, it turns into anger, and this is absolutely true.

Du Juan giggled, her mouth agape, spitting out a mouthful of thick, metallic blood. "Oh dear, you're eating people! I'll use you as an appetizer first!"

With a bite taken from the top of his head, Wang Er fainted from fright.

Du Juan sneered, then transformed into a wisp of green smoke and entered his head.
