"later!"
Several ice needles attacked from behind, and their angle and force were exactly the same as the ones she had just thrown.
If it weren't for the timely warning from the little cloud beast, she probably wouldn't have been able to dodge so quickly.
"What's going on? Why are the ice needles I fired forward appearing from behind?" Xiang Wan condensed ice spikes again and swung them forward.
"Whoosh!"
She waited there and then grabbed it.
The force wasn't great, so catching it was effortless.
An idea suddenly came to mind as evening approached.
She took a rope out of her storage bag, conjured an ice ball at one end, held the other end in her hand, and threw it forward.
"Clang, clang, clang," the sound of the hockey puck bouncing on the pavement rang out continuously. Xiang Wan stood calmly in place, looking back.
The rope in his hands was dwindling, but the puck kept rolling.
At one point, the sound disappeared.
Xiang Wan threw an ice spike forward, and more ice spikes flew towards her from behind, but the ice ball attached to the rope remained motionless.
When he extended his divine sense, apart from a distance of three zhang in front and behind, the surrounding area was all mud and swamp, and he could not detect anything.
"If this is a vicious cycle, I won't be able to escape it, not even for three days and three nights, but for a lifetime. What exactly is the Purple-Clad Immortal trying to test me for? My indomitable will? Or my quick wit that's always breaking the rules?"
Pulling the rope back, the puck was still the same puck, and the rope showed no abnormalities.
Xiang Wan thought for a moment, tore a spare set of clothes from her storage bag into thin strips, tied them together with a rope, and threw the ice hockey puck out again using her strength.
With a "thud," the puck landed on the path behind them.
Pulling on the ropes of the ice hockey puck, the strip of cloth in his hand moved along with it.
"Is setting up a road that can never be reached to tell me that the cultivation of immortality is endless?" Xiang Wan's mind raced. "Now that I'm here, it can't be that easy for me to get through. There must be a deeper meaning behind this."
Xiang Wan stopped moving and simply stood still, staring intently at the ice puck in her hand. She narrowed her eyes, grabbed the other end of the rope, and swung it into the mist on both sides.
As it swung, it created a whooshing sound, stirring up the mist.
“There are no obstacles around, so what about underfoot?” Xiang Wan grabbed the puck and threw it to one side of the path.
With a whoosh, the puck fell to the bottom and bounced back up from the other side.
"It's empty!" Xiang Wan was now certain that she was standing on a narrow path in the air, and could only move forward or backward.
She had been to such a dull place as the Bloodstained World, so why would she be afraid of such a situation?
Frost formed on Xiang Wan's feet, marking a spot on the ground, and she slid forward rapidly.
When she saw the markings left on the road again, she paused, and at the same time, a pair of crystal-clear wings quickly wove together from her shoulders.
"If you don't want me to finish this journey, then I won't go!"
With a flap of her icy wings, Xiang Wan's aura changed dramatically. A transparent spear appeared in her hand, and with a touch of her toes, she lunged into the mist beside the path.
Her expression was cold and stern, like a god of death, and the end of her spear gleamed with a cold light, with a faint hint of gold.
The man in purple suddenly opened his eyes, and a golden light flew from his fingertips, entering the cloud map and slowly flashing along a winding and complex route.
"It's this path again, is it never going to end?" Xiang Wan leaped into the white mist with full vigilance, expecting to encounter something, but to her surprise, there was another path below, and the mark she made was still in the same place.
He jumped down again and ended up back in the same spot.
It was repeated more than ten times, and it flew upwards several times, but it was still the same familiar path and the same familiar signs.
“Something’s definitely wrong! The key is in this white fog.” Xiang Wan stood still, squinting as she examined the swirling fog around her. “Only when the white fog is gone can we break this deadlock.”
"Xiaomeng, are you sure absorbing the spiritual energy from this white mist won't harm you?"
"Mmm, it feels quite comfortable."
The little cloud dream beast, standing behind Xiang Wan, was inhaling the white mist with a look of utter ecstasy.
Xiang Wan put away all the ice wings and ice spears, and created an ice spike cage around herself to protect herself and the little cloud dream beast. Then, she began to meditate and regulate her breathing.
Zi Yi was taken aback. He waved his hand to pull Shui Jing closer, and looked at Xiang Wan's actions, which were exactly the same as his own, and remained silent for a long time. Finally, he sighed and closed his eyes.
"Deceive me, mislead me, then all of you shall disappear!" Xiang Wan formed hand seals, rapidly circulating the white inner core within her body, the surrounding chill swirling around it. A wisp of golden light flashed on the inner core, then began to swirl above, forming a funnel-shaped vortex.
A strong suction force emanated from the white inner core, and the spiritual energy around the body rapidly rushed into the vortex.
The inner core absorbed spiritual energy and began to spin rapidly, with the suction force continuing to increase.
Soon, the spiritual energy around Xiang Wan was completely absorbed, and the surrounding mist was pulled and surged outwards.
"Not enough, the speed isn't fast enough, and these mists are showing signs of escaping." Xiang Wan focused her mind and concentrated entirely on circulating her inner core.
The white inner core circulated faster once more, and the vortex formed by the golden light grew larger again.
"Suck it!"
When the inner elixir was circulated to its limit, it made cracking sounds, showing faint signs of cracking.
Xiang Wan ignored it and added another strand of spiritual consciousness, causing the inner core to rotate even faster.
The surrounding white mist seemed to know what Xiang Wan was doing, and it surged faster and faster, trying to escape from her side as soon as possible.
However, even at the cost of her inner core shattering, she would not let go of these mists!
