The black, soft-bodied creatures inside the mountain wall all scrambled out like madmen, falling down like rain.
In no time, the cave floor was covered with these creatures.
Xiang Wan, her face cold, wrapped herself up like ice. "Such terrifying abilities, if released outside, wouldn't they become a plague? No wonder everyone says that the ruins of divine relics are difficult to explore; they are indeed not places that normal people can come to. They are too damn abnormal."
The soft-bodied creature moved away from Xiang Wan on its own initiative, while the creature she had cut in two earlier began sucking black pieces into its mouth one by one.
In less than fifteen minutes, two intact soft-bodied creatures appeared in front of her.
Upon examining its head, there appears to be a faint bulge around its eyeballs.
"Damn, does it have eyes?" Xiang Wan felt the deep malice of nature towards her.
Doesn't everyone say that evolution takes time?
It hasn't even been fifteen minutes! If it were a whole day, would it grow wings and fly away?
Thinking of the spirit-eating insects, Xiang Wan suddenly felt as if she had discovered the truth.
Upon closer inspection, these mollusks resemble daphnia more and more.
"When exactly did the ruins of the divine relic appear? If it appeared before the immortals fell, are the things in the forbidden area of Suixu Mountain related to it?"
After thinking for a while, Xiang Wan's expression gradually became serious.
She planned to freeze one with ice and take it out to show Ziyi.
The problem is, she still doesn't know how to get out.
She's surrounded by these soft-bodied creatures; can she just disappear into thin air?
As she pondered, Xiang Wan focused her gaze on the abdomen of the enormous creature. "Spirit-eating worms have inner cores, does this one?"
He took out another Flame Burst Talisman from his storage bag, activated it with his spiritual power, and threw it into the swarm of insects.
"Sizzle!"
The smell of burning filled the air as countless black, soft-bodied creatures enveloped the two giant beings, leaving their bodies to be scorched by the flames.
"Those two big worms must be the leaders of these worms. Catching them should be enough to deal with these soft-bodied worms."
Xiang Wan emerged from the ice and threw handfuls of Explosive Flame Talismans at the black insects.
As they gradually shrank, the giant black worm surrounded in the middle became enraged and raised its head to spray sticky mucus everywhere.
The clothes that were stained with this slime quickly turned into a hard, transparent substance and fell straight down.
Xiang Wan now understood: these insects used saliva to hunt. Once they were covered in saliva, they could no longer move and could only be devoured.
"We need to find a way to locate its inner core. Without it, let's see how it grows!"
Seeing the saliva columns around her that hadn't yet been swallowed, Xiang Wan came up with a plan. She wrapped a Flame Burst Talisman in an ice ball, made it into a small ball, and placed it on top of the saliva columns to secure it.
Then, she moved to the edge of the cave and used talismans to burn the insects' skin, interfering with their judgment and driving them to move in that direction.
The giant insect roared, opened its mouth wide, and devoured the black insects around it one by one, its body growing at a speed visible to the naked eye.
However, the insects that Xiang Wan burned with flames had shrunk several times in size and were no longer enough for the giant insect to swallow.
As it ate, it felt the streams of saliva and swallowed them one by one.
At this moment, the giant worm that was previously just a body had grown to twice its original size, and its mouthparts were also several times larger than before. It swallowed the column of saliva mixed with ice balls and fire runes in one gulp.
"Now!"
Xiang Wan activated her spiritual power and sensed that the flame talisman had reached her waist and abdomen. She quickly made a hand seal, and the flame talisman was ignited in an instant.
"Hiss!"
The giant worm rolled on the ground in pain, and soon it burned from the inside out into a fiery dragon.

Xiang Wan noticed that, apart from the worm whose head had turned into a head, the other black worms seemed to be hiding as far away as possible, and some had even crawled into the stone caves in the cave wall.

"Xiao Meng, once the flames go out, quickly snatch its inner core. I'll deal with the other one."
"Don't worry, Master."
The little cloud dream beast planted its feet firmly on the ground, poised to pounce.
Xiang Wan hurled an ice spike, pinning the giant worm to the spot. "If I don't cut you off, let's see if you can still defy the heavens like this."
As she moved, the little cloud dream beast also moved, leaping to the spot where the flames were about to go out, grabbing a bead, and jumping back onto Xiang Wan.
"Well done, Xiaomeng!"
As she put the bead into her storage bag, the large worm she had pinned down suddenly raised its head, opened its mouth, and emitted a sonic wave.
Xiang Wan knew she was in trouble and quickly froze it, turning it into an ice sculpture which she then threw into her storage bag, all the while cautiously looking around.
The rustling sound came from all directions.
Pairs of red eyes emerged from the stone cave, cold and bloodthirsty.
Upon closer inspection, it appeared that these red-eyed creatures were still chewing something in their mouths.
"My God, it's a giant centipede!"
Xiang Wan's worldview was completely overturned.
Mollusks can actually summon centipedes!
The world is too crazy, she wants some peace and quiet!
