"Hello?"
Nangong Chen's deep voice came through the phone.
"Brother-in-law, it's me!"
Liu Zixi felt a pang of pain in his heart, but forced himself to remain calm and spoke. Before, when he called, Nangong Chen would never say "hello," but would always call him by his name. Could it be that once he had obtained him, he no longer cared?
"Zixi? What do you want?"
"Brother-in-law, where are you? I want to see you."
"I have some things to take care of, so it's not convenient for me to come out."
Liu Zixi's fingers tightened around her phone, her breathing became heavy, and her heart ached so much she could hardly breathe. Had Nangong Chen already started lying after only two days?

"I want to see you, I want to see you, I need to see you right now!"
"Okay, you wait, I'll call you in a bit."
Nangong Chen hung up the phone and strode into the villa. He looked at Xiang Wan's joyful face, but couldn't bring himself to say what he wanted to say.
Xiang Wan noticed his hesitation and her smile softened: "Is there something urgent? You go ahead, I'm fine."
Nangong Chen nodded slowly, then turned and walked out.
"Achen, be careful, I'm waiting for you!"
"…good!"
