A heavy footstep entered the autopsy room. Looking up, I saw it was the bureau chief.
"Is it really... really gone?" The bureau chief, a grown man, asked with reddened eyes and a trembling voice.
"Director."
Walking over, seeing the person lying peacefully with a pale face, my reason crumbled.
"You silly girl, what will your parents do if you leave? How can I face them? I'm so sorry!" she cried out, her voice breaking the hearts of all who heard it.
"Chief, call Xiaobai's parents! She's a hero." Shang Zhihang didn't dare to look, but he was still rational.
"Hmm!" The man stood up, looking as if he had aged ten years in an instant, no longer the spirited man he once was.
With trembling hands, he took out his phone and dialed the number of the Bai couple.
"Old Ye, what's wrong?"

"What happened? Tell me!" The person on the other end became anxious upon hearing his cries.

The phone beeped, and the old man was so startled he almost jumped out of his skin.
Coming to his senses, he shouted upstairs, "Old woman, old woman, hurry, something's happened to my daughter!"
"What?" Then came the sound of hurried footsteps.
"Hurry up, hurry up, Lao Ye wants us to go to the police station," the man urged.
When the elderly couple arrived at the police station, they were in a panic, asking, "What happened to my daughter? Lao Ye, Lao Ye, where is my daughter?"
"Sister-in-law, I'm sorry!" The bureau chief said, and then knelt down.
"Is that my Youyou lying there?" The woman looked up, saw the figure lying down, and asked directly.
Saying "Yes!" is so difficult, so very difficult.
"Youyou, Mom is so sorry! Get up, get up and make trouble. Mom will clean up after you, okay? How are your parents supposed to live like this? Get up! Ah~ ah!" The woman cried her heart out, her voice hoarse and uttering her grievances.
