"Looks like it's time for me to meet this lovely woman, hehe!" Zhang Yelin stuck out his tongue and licked the liquid, then walked to the boiling liquid and grinned maliciously, his eyes filled with greed.
Just then, Suiyi and her friends were happily eating breakfast, chatting away, when an uninvited guest arrived, spoiling the mood.
"Knock knock!" There was a knock on the door. Everyone looked at each other, wondering who would come to visit so early. With this question in mind, Qiao Jianfeng got up and opened the door. Standing outside was a man in a white coat, Zhang Yelin.
"Dr. Zhang? Is there something you need?" Qiao Jianfeng stood at the door, not letting him in.
Upon hearing who the visitor was, the people inside exchanged glances, all curious about the reason for his arrival.
"Oh! I heard that a very important person has come here, so I've come to pay him a visit," Zhang Yelin said modestly.
Upon hearing this, Sui Yi thought, "Oh ho! So this guy is after me. Fine, I'd like to see what this man is capable of."
"Well... we do have a distinguished guest, but she's not someone important, just a little girl." Qiao Jianfeng refused without even thinking, feeling that this was like a weasel offering New Year's greetings to a chicken with ill intentions.
The light inside the room nodded to Qian Yangsheng, who glanced at the doorway and spoke.
"Ah Feng, let Dr. Zhang in."
Upon hearing this, Qiao Jianfeng stepped aside to let Zhang Yelin in.
"Dr. Zhang, please!"
Zhang Yelin walked in without ceremony. Looking inside, he saw that Qian Yangsheng's team was all there, and everyone's eyes were on him.
What captivated his attention most, however, was that one and only woman, breathtakingly beautiful, captivating his soul. She was like a ray of light, shining into his heart without warning. He had never seen such a beautiful woman before; she possessed the ethereal beauty of a rare celestial being in this apocalyptic world.
Looking at her now, I always feel that the women I've seen before were all ugly and unsightly.
He stared straight at Suiyi, his heart racing, and he fell in love at first sight!
"Dr. Zhang, Dr. Zhang?" Seeing the newcomer staring straight at Xia Meizi, Qian Yangsheng felt utterly contemptuous of Zhang Yelin. How could he be so rude as to stare at a girl like that? He couldn't help but speak up to remind him.
"Oh!" Zhang Yelin came to his senses, glanced at her somewhat embarrassedly, and felt a little guilty for being so abrupt with the beautiful woman.

"This must be Dr. Zhang? Hello!" Sui Yi greeted him first.

"Oh! I just heard that Mr. Zhang came to see me. Is there anything I can help you with?"
"I heard that you saved Captain Qian, so I came to see for myself out of curiosity. You are indeed a heroine among women."

"He's handsome and refined, a truly remarkable person. But as the saying goes, you can know a person's face but not their heart. It's really hard to tell what kind of person he is in such a short time," Sui Yi's answer was quite apt. Indeed, anyone who could become Luo Jingli's assistant must have been a highly skilled individual who had passed through numerous selection processes. This person was not easy to deal with.
Sui Yi had no idea that Luo Jingli inside the space had heard her words completely. The man's face darkened, and his icy aura made the sweltering daytime seem much cooler.
"Huh? Don't you guys feel that the air is much cooler here?" Qiao Jianfeng asked in surprise.
Everyone turned to look at Qiao Xing, the only ice-type ability user in the room.
"Why are you looking at me? I wouldn't do something so pointless, wasting my powers to cool you down." He rolled his eyes at the group and explained.
"That's strange. Is the weather about to change?"
Everyone shook their heads.
"Boss, what are our plans for today? How about we go outside and collect some crystal cores?"
"Right now? It's probably too dangerous outside. I doubt the zombie army has gone far; they're watching us like hawks. If we go out, we might be doomed. Let's wait a few days!"
"What is Xia Meizi planning to do?"
"I... I want to go out today because Jing Li sent me a text message saying he's finished his work and is on his way to the base."
