Chapter 168 The Cannon Fodder Special Police Officer's Husband-Catching Adventure

Qi Muzhi sent people to guard Sui Yi's house, while he contacted Shui Qingxian, asking him to send his soul to where Sui Yi's soul resided, as he was worried about leaving her alone in other worlds. Actually, he was overthinking it, because he followed her in every world, only treating them as dreams. Besides, he didn't need to sleep for days like Sui Yi; he only needed to dream at night.

However, he wouldn't know about this until he realized what was going on, that is, before he awakened his memories. Now that he has his memories, and after several worlds, his bond with her has deepened, so he's not worried about not being able to find her.

At this moment, Suiyi was bored in the space, reading books and counting down the days, watching the cooldown, and as soon as it was over, she would immediately go to the mission world.

That day, the cooldown finally ended. Suiyi opened the mission world, clicked to enter, and a flash of white light appeared. Her soul was no longer in the system space.

When Suiyi regained consciousness, she let out a soft moan, feeling utterly weak and in pain. Opening her eyes, she laboriously turned her head to look around, only to find herself lying amidst a pile of corpses and a pool of blood.

"Holy crap! What the hell is going on? Last time it was a zombie world, which was fine; lying in a pile of dead bodies was normal. But why is it happening again this time? It seems this setting is really messed up. Damn it, next time I'll definitely design myself to be lying comfortably in bed. But then again, I feel a bit helpless. Usually, those who can transmigrate into princesses, nobles, or lie comfortably in bed are the protagonists. Cannon fodder like me probably only have the fate of lying in a pile of dead bodies!"

"Sigh!" He sighed. He was in a really tough situation. Every part of his body ached, and he was very cold.

She tried to get up, but found herself in excruciating pain. She lay back down on the ground, reached out to touch the painful spot, and looked up to see—damn it, it was blood! It seemed the original owner of this body had died from excessive blood loss.

This was serious! Sui Yi quickly touched her body a few times, and the bleeding finally slowed down. But this couldn't go on; her body had little vitality left, and someone had to come to her rescue.

However, Sui Yi is now afraid that the person who came to this abandoned warehouse is her enemy. If they see that she is still alive, they might finish her off with another blow.

Sui Yi prayed silently, observing her surroundings. The corpses lying haphazardly around her were all dressed in black suits, making it seem like a gang fight! Could this be a triad incident?

Sigh! Before we even get to the plot, nothing else matters.

Just as Suiyi was lost in thought, she heard footsteps coming from behind her.

"I'm doomed, is it the enemy? Am I going to be game over?" Sui Yi wailed inwardly, but dared not move.

As the ancients said, one should remain still to observe the situation before making any further decisions.

"Boss, we're late." A male voice said, looking at the horrific scene before him.

"Hmm!" The man's extremely cold voice rang out, just a simple word. His eyes swept across the pile of corpses, and he spotted a hair. His sharp eyes stared at that spot.

Suiyi felt a chill run down her spine, guessing that someone was watching the back of her head. She was really conflicted about whether to move or not.

The man's footsteps approached, growing louder and louder, making Sui Yi's heart clench. She instinctively held her breath, entering a state of suspended animation.

Walking up to the woman, the man gave his subordinate a look, who nodded, squatted down, and tentatively touched her nose. He then stood up.

"Boss, Madam is no longer breathing!" The man's words were so blunt that Sui Yi was so angry she really wanted to jump up and beat him up. Seriously.

#What do you mean by "out of breath"? Do you have any common sense? But calling me "Madam"? Does that mean I am? No way, I'll fight this.

Sui Yi slowly opened her eyes, looked at the person above her, and stretched out her bloodied hand.

"I'm still breathing!" After saying that, she fainted. That shout used all the strength she had.

The men had already turned around, but upon hearing this, they all stopped in surprise. The less composed subordinates twitched their lips and looked at their boss to speak.

The man turned around and saw that the chest, which had been flat, was now rising and falling slightly. He glanced at the woman, his calm face showing no other expression.

"Take your wife with you." After saying this, the man turned and left, leaving his two subordinates looking at each other blankly. They smiled wryly, resignedly picked up their wives, and followed behind.

When Suiyi woke up again, she opened her eyes and found herself lying on a large, comfortable bed. Looking at the white ceiling above her, Suiyi wondered where she was.

It seemed she had been rescued by those men, but she had no idea where she was. Sui Yi meowed to the left and to the right, when suddenly a "click" sound came from the door opening.

Suiyi quickly closed her eyes. She heard a noise; it turned out someone had come into the room to take something and then left.

Suiyi opened her eyes, lifted the blanket, and wanted to check how she was feeling.

After pulling back the covers, Suiyi looked down at her clothes, which were a light pink silky nightgown. Suiyi struggled to sit up in bed, feeling a throbbing pain in her chest.

Slowly getting out of bed, Suiyi walked to the dressing table in the room, looked at herself in the mirror, and raised her eyebrows.

The reflection in the mirror showed a baby-faced, delicate, and adorable girl with cherry-like lips, about 1.7 meters tall, and chubby cheeks. Her long, slightly wavy hair was dyed brown. She looked exactly like a Barbie doll! Suiyi disliked this kind of appearance and style the most; it lacked any grandeur and made her look frail.

The original owner looked like this; it seems I'll have to change the appearance of this body in the future.

Suiyi walked to the door, locked it, and then confidently went to the mirror and lifted her pajamas.

This body truly had skin as smooth as jade, fair and beautiful, with two long, straight, white legs. Sui Yi was actually a little embarrassed to look at it.

She lifted her clothes up to her chest, revealing her ample bosom. Sui Yi's eyes widened in shock. "Holy crap, you really can't judge a book by its cover!" she exclaimed. "She truly has a youthful face and huge breasts!" Sui Yi blushed and quickly pulled her pajamas back down.

But remembering that her purpose was to check the wound, she slowly lifted her clothes. She saw that her left chest was bound with straps. Sui Yi simply untied them, unbundling them layer by layer, and took a deep breath. Looking in the mirror, she saw a wound on her chest with what appeared to be ointment on it, and the blood had already scabbed over! It seemed she had been unconscious for a long time, otherwise her body wouldn't have scabbed over so quickly.

She pressed on the wound a few times; it hurt quite a bit. Suiyi picked up the bandage that was lying on the table and searched around the room until she finally found a new bandage and tied it on herself.
