Suiyi carried the fat woman all the way to the principal's office, ignoring her shouting and feeling no pressure at all, as if she were carrying a chick.
People came and went along the way, and many parents stood and watched the spectacle. It was truly a once-in-a-millennium sight: a thin girl lifting up a fat woman. It was simply astonishing.
Some busybodies even followed them up.
"Uh, who are those two?"
"Oh! I've seen that fat woman before; she's a parent. As for that hero, I haven't seen him. I guess he's a parent too!"
"I've really seen something today. When I get back and tell my husband about it, I doubt he'll believe me."
"Do you know what that fat woman did?" someone asked curiously, their gossip simmering.
"That fat woman is a parent of a child in the middle class. Today she was blocking the classroom door from picking up her child, and then this woman, who should be the teacher, pulled her out."
"What did she do to make people lose their temper?"
"You don't know, this woman's child got into a fight with some other kids in class, and apparently got hit in the face by accident. This woman is holding a grudge and won't let it go, and she even wants the teacher to take the child to the hospital for a shot."
"Was that a very fierce fight?"
"There's no ghost. It's just that her child had a pimple on their face, scratched it until the skin bled, and then blamed it on the teacher. So, another teacher couldn't stand it anymore and stepped in."
"In the end, this is also the fault of this society. Most families only have one child, and they have to hold him in their hands for fear of dropping him, and keep him in their mouths for fear of melting him. They love him like the apple of their eye."
"I don't think so. We paid for the kindergarten, so they should take good care of our children and make sure nothing happens. You know, kindergarten is really worrying. If something happens, it'll be a big deal!"
"That's true. If the child stays at home, we adults have to go to work. If we don't go to work and stay home to take care of the child, it's not good for the child's future development if they don't participate in group activities. But if we send them to kindergarten, we worry. It's a real dilemma!"
"However, sometimes kindergarten teachers work really hard. With only two or three people looking after so many kids, it's really hard to keep an eye on them all. It's inevitable that bumps and bruises will happen. Besides, you know your own kids best, and some of them are really naughty, making things difficult for the teachers!"
"Yes! Yes! Even we get injured when we're looking after just one child, let alone one person looking after a dozen or so. No one can be perfect in every way!"
"What do you think that teacher will do to that parent?"
"Needless to say, they should be taught a lesson!"
"Dad, is Sister Yun a superhero? She's so amazing! When I grow up, I want to be as amazing as Sister Yun," a little child said innocently.
The parent was dumbfounded; his child's sudden remark left him completely bewildered.
"Uh, baby, you don't need to be better than your sister Yun. You can just be an ordinary person."
"Dad, if I'm stronger than Sister Yun, and if anyone bullies her, I can save her. I want to be a hero and fight bad guys."
Parent: "...So frustrating. If you're so capable, why not protect Mom and Dad instead of your sister Yun? You ungrateful wretch!" She sighed, glaring at her child. This kid deserves a beating.
"Your sister Yun is so capable, she can fight off bad guys all by herself, why are you worrying?" The parent's tone was a bit harsh, completely annoyed by her own child, and also a little jealous!
"But I really like Sister Yun! She's so pretty and gentle."
Really? Child, are you telling the truth? Gentleness, what is that? I don't see it.
"Yes, yes! I like Sister Yun too." Just then, a little boy passed by and, upon hearing what the little boy said, agreed wholeheartedly.
Upon hearing this, the male parent looked at the other male parent with a helpless expression and suddenly felt a sense of shared misfortune, and they sympathized with each other.
The two children seemed to have found a companion, chattering endlessly, and their conversations always revolved around the so-called Sister Yun.
The two parents were at a loss for words, watching their two little ones chatting happily, and both chose to remain silent.
"By the way, which class is your child in?"
"Don't say anything more. My child happens to be in Class 1 of the middle school, which is the class that Teacher Zhong teaches."
"Teacher Zhong?" he asked, somewhat puzzled.
"That's the 'Sister Yun' that the kids talk about. Where's yours?" That was really discouraging.
“My family lives next door. I don’t know what kind of person this Teacher Zhong is, that she has such great charm.”
"You know what, the new teacher who just arrived yesterday has already captured the hearts of so many children. You wouldn't believe it, my child calls her 'Sister Yun' all the time as soon as she gets home. I think it might not be long before she stops coming home altogether."
"Come on, let's add each other on WeChat. I bet we'll have a bunch of like-minded parents in the future!"
"Okay, okay, okay!" After saying that, they took out their phones to scan the QR code and add each other as friends. The two of them tacitly created a group chat.
"Alright, kid, your mom's cooking at home and waiting for us. Let's talk another day!"
"Dad, you have to make me Superman before I go home, otherwise I won't go." She said, crossing her arms and tilting her head to one side.
"Hey! You little brat, you're asking for a beating, aren't you?" Her eyes widened, she was really furious.
