The man, emboldened, walked over and stood three feet away from the ring. His eyes gleamed with a predatory greed as he reached out. Suddenly, the ring flashed red, and the man was blasted away by a burst of energy. He crashed into the crowd, causing some commotion.
"Wow, seeing is believing! There are so many people here, do they all want to take a flight?"
The fourth brother stroked his chin and said blankly.
"Shall we go check on that person?" Fourth Sister-in-law looked over there, seemingly not seeing any movement from the person who had been sent flying earlier.
"Quickly, call 120 for an ambulance, hurry!"
Shouts came from the crowd, and noise rose and fell.
The ambulance arrived quickly, and the paramedics swiftly carried the person away, after which silence returned.
Everyone was still shaken, but as they looked at the ring, their eyes regained some rationality. No matter how good something is, you have to be alive to enjoy it.
Regardless of what others were in, Suiyi's brows were always tightly furrowed.
Since arriving here, I've felt an energy calling to me, and the source of that energy is only those two rings.
Sui Yi pondered for a long time. Although the ring looked very familiar, she was certain that she had never seen it before. Could it be one that she had once owned?
Sui Yi glanced at Qi Muzhi and saw that he was also frowning, seemingly deep in thought.
Sui Yi exhaled a light breath and walked out of the crowd.
"Uh, sister-in-law, what are you going to do?"
When the fourth brother called out, Qi Muzhi snapped out of her thoughts, looked at her, and her eyes showed disapproval and worry.
"I feel like I have a connection with that thing."
After speaking, Suiyi moved closer to the ring, and the closer she got, the more familiar it felt to her.
Slowly, as they got closer to the ring, the people around them instinctively held their breath. The man felt reluctant, but the woman, seeing someone more beautiful than herself, cursed her in her heart.
Sui Yi stepped within three feet of the ring, and nothing happened, leaving everyone around dumbfounded. Some unconvinced individuals seized the opportunity to rush over, but unfortunately, they were blasted away by the energy, leaving Sui Yi standing there unharmed.
He reached out, opened the glass case, took out the ring, and was completely unharmed.
The moment Sui Yi received the ring, she suddenly felt a sharp pain in her head and swayed slightly. Qi Muzhi quickly ran over to support her.
"Yun'er, what's wrong?"
Qi Muzhi cried out anxiously and worriedly.
"I'm so sleepy." After saying that, Suiyi closed her eyes wearily and cursed before falling asleep.
"Damn it, I got ripped off, you worthless ring."
Sui Yi's fainting spell startled Qi Muzhi.
Qi Muzhi quickly picked her up and headed outside, while the other leaders followed closely behind.
Inside the hospital, Suiyi lay quietly in bed as the doctor examined her.
"Doctor, how is she?"
"She is asleep due to some mental damage. Don't worry, sir. She will wake up naturally after a few days."
The doctor looked at Qi Muzhi and, seeing his anxious expression, offered words of comfort.
"Okay! Thank you, doctor!"
The doctor nodded and left.
Qi Muzhi sat on the edge of the bed, looking at her pale face, feeling extremely distressed.
"Are you stupid? You want a worthless ring?"
As Qi Muzhi spoke, he stared fiercely at the ring on Sui Yi's hand. He really wanted to pull this eyesore off, but he had tried before and the ring seemed to be rooted to the spot and he couldn't get it off at all.
However, Sui Yi had another ring on her hand, lying quietly in her palm.
Qi Muzhi took the ring, put it on his hand, and looked at it in front of his eyes. There was nothing special about it.
I wanted to take it off, but I couldn't. The ring was loose when I put it on, but it has tightened up on its own.
"Damn it! This thing!" Qi Muzhi had been fiddling with it for a long time but couldn't find any mechanism on it; it had just shrunk. Even someone as calm as him wanted to curse inside!
Fine, let it be! Although this ring has caused Yi'er emotional distress, seeing how sensible it is, I'll reluctantly wear it!
In this world, Qi Muzhi cared for Suiyi day and night. In another world, in a spacious, magnificent, and noble palace adorned with dragons and phoenixes, sat a man of imposing stature, charming and alluring, dressed in a dark gold robe with long black hair cascading to the ground. Suddenly, he opened his tightly closed eyes. These were purple eyes that seemed to hold the essence of the world, sparkling with starlight and exuding a noble and pleasing aura.
The man's eyes gazed into the distance, his wicked gaze slightly narrowed, and his exquisitely thin lips curved into an alluring arc, instantly giving him an aura of sinister wickedness.
"Ha! I've finally found you!"
Suddenly, the man raised his eyelids, widened his eyes, and clenched his hands in mid-air. When he opened his hands, there was a small animal that looked like a hamster in his palms.
"Why aren't you waking up yet?" the man said in a displeased, indifferent tone.
"Squeak, squeak!" What woke up was not something else, but Ah Xing, who had been missing for almost a world.
"You're awake?"
Ah Xing looked up and saw a tall man pinching him, his short arms and legs flailing him around several times, but he couldn't break free.
"You've gotten bolder. I told you to help her come back, but who told you to send her to that person?"
The man's question left Ah Xing completely bewildered.
"Who am I? Where am I?" He stared wide-eyed, looking around.
