After hearing the explanation, neither of them dared to imagine it.
"My God, that's so ruthless. Now I completely believe that she can single-handedly venture into the desolate planet to capture interstellar beasts! And she even managed to escape from the claws of a mutated roc."
"Perhaps they have some trump card!" The man sighed, turning to look at his friend beside him. He then added, "There are only two months left until the assessment. You guys need to train hard too. There might be some dark horses rising up in this year's assessment competition. Don't fall out of the top fifty on the leaderboard."
"Ah! I remember now!" The man on the left suddenly exclaimed, drawing the attention of the two men.
"What's wrong?"
"Manli seems to be ranked fiftieth on the popularity list. After losing this competition, won't she be on the popularity list? So she should participate in our peak showdown assessment this time, right?"
The two were taken aback, exchanged a glance, and realized they had overlooked this detail. It seemed they might be about to encounter a formidable opponent.
"I'd better go back to training. If I accidentally get knocked out by her, I'll be incredibly embarrassed. My goal is to regain my glory at the Imperial Academy after the assessment! If I fail miserably in two months, I'll regret it for the rest of my life."
Sui Yi had no idea that her every move was being watched, and analyzed so thoroughly and logically that some of her cards were exposed in an instant. But did it matter? Absolutely not. With so many cards to play, revealing just one or two would be enough to astound anyone.
Suiyi walked to a secluded spot and grabbed Ah Xing from her pocket.
"You bastard, don't you dare vomit in my pocket. Otherwise, I'll skin you alive and make soup." After pulling Ah Xing out, he threw him on the ground. Ah Xing quickly found a hiding place and vomited wildly, his long tongue sticking out as he retched.
Several minutes later, feeling exhausted, he plopped down on the ground, panting heavily.
"Are you alright?" Hearing that the vomiting had stopped, Suiyi called out in that direction.
Ah Xing walked out, looking particularly weak. He glared resentfully at Sui Yi.
"You even had to put me in your pocket before you started fighting. You didn't consider my feelings at all. It was like riding a roller coaster. It made me dizzy and extremely uncomfortable."
"Didn't you find staying at home boring? I'm here to give you some excitement."
"Don't try to argue with me. I didn't eat much here to begin with, and now I've thrown it all up. You have to compensate me." Ah Xing stood with his hands on his hips, short and fat, exuding an air of arrogance.
“Spit it out, then you can eat it.” Sui Yi didn’t care and retorted casually.
"You...you eat first and show me."
"Heh!" Sui Yi sneered and walked towards A Xing.
"What, what are you going to do?" Seeing the woman walking towards him with a fierce look on her face, he swallowed hard. His already weak body went even further, and he stammered as he backed away.
"I'm not doing anything. I'm leaving!" Seeing its frightened appearance, Suiyi kindly let it go. Axing bared its teeth and followed listlessly.
"Where are you going?" It came to Suiyi's side. It had originally wanted to jump onto someone's shoulder, but having just vomited, it absolutely couldn't go. If it did, it'd probably turn into a stink bug. This heartless woman, even with its short arms and legs, didn't she wait for it?
"Going home is boring!" Sui Yi had already achieved some of her goals, so she might as well go back. As for the mecha, she could just ask her uncle to pull some strings for her later!
"Aren't you going to test your mental strength level?"
"No, I'm not going. We'll be tested in two months anyway, so why bother making things more complicated?"
"Then you must make me something delicious when you get back. Otherwise, I won't listen to you next time."
"Oh ho. You've got some nerve, haven't you? If you don't listen to me, then you can go into the space."
"Damn!" He stuck out his tongue at her as he watched her retreating figure.
"If your tongue is not working, just say so."
"..." Ah Xing quickly withdrew his tongue. This woman was truly bewitching. Did she have eyes on the back of her head?
When Suiyi returned, she opened the door to find her uncle sitting on the sofa looking at a tablet.
"You're back? How's the mech?" He knew it was his niece from the footsteps, and asked without even looking up.
"Didn't make it. Couldn't get in without a badge. Did, though, go to the arena and had a fight." Sui Yi said casually, slumping onto the sofa, completely unconcerned about her image.
"Oh? Did you win?" The uncle was a little curious. He had seen her exercising every day for the past few days and wanted to know her current level.
"Uncle, don't you love me anymore? If it were before, you would definitely ask if I was hurt." Suiyi pouted, somewhat dissatisfied.
"Really? I've been watching your training these past few days, and I'm just grateful you're not bullying anyone. I hope no one complains to my family, or I'll be really embarrassed."
Speechless!
"Alright! Come with me, I have a surprise for you." He got up, walked to Suiyi's side, pulled her up, and looked mysterious.
"What?"
"Come with me and you'll see!"
Suiyi followed behind and entered a room. When her uncle opened the door, he gestured for her to go in. Suiyi walked over with a puzzled look. The room was quiet, but there was someone on the bed. She walked over with questions in mind, and when she saw the person, Suiyi was dumbfounded.
"Is this my future aunt?" Sui Yi pointed at the woman on the bed and asked her uncle in surprise.
