"Husband, did you really not see that master?" Madam Rong turned to her husband and asked again.
"Yes! At the time, Miss Ya told me that the expert had already left, and I was waiting at the door, but I didn't see anyone acting suspiciously. Besides, I was definitely not the only one outside the venue who wanted to see what the expert looked like, but I got nothing."
"Alright! Zhuo'er has been thinking about that benefactor these past few days. I wonder if that person will come to Zhuo'er's banquet."
"Why think about these things now? Even if they come, we won't know unless they tell us."
"By the way, it seems that the Hua family's auction house will be auctioning two Life-Giving Pills next time. Is there anything we need to prepare?"
"There's nothing to prepare. When the pills are auctioned, that expert should be there. We just need to prepare a generous gift and give it to the auction house so they can pass it on to that expert. You still want those two pills? Don't even think about it! After what Zhuo'er did, those pills are absolutely priceless. The powerful figures in the Immortal Realm might even come to join in the fun."
"That's true. Even if we don't use such a precious item, there are others who will need it."
"Another point is that if those people don't use it on the spot, they'll be in trouble once they leave the venue. 'A common man is innocent, but possessing a treasure is a crime.'"
"Yes! I'm so glad that our Zhuo'er is safe and sound. That expert was very thoughtful. With the Hua family's background, even the Xuanfeng Sect has to give them some respect. Taking the pills there will save us a lot of trouble."
"Alright! It's almost time, let's go get ready." Rong Jitian glanced at the sky and turned to his wife.
"Good!" Turning to look at her increasingly confident third son, Rong's mother sincerely thanked the person who refined the elixir.
"Zhuo'er, go change your clothes, let's set off the firecrackers!"
"Okay! Mother, I'll go downstairs now!" Rong Qingzhuo nodded to his mother and turned to go into the room.
“Mother, my little brother is doing much better now! He’s no longer depressed or looking so gloomy!” Rong Xi, the eldest brother of the Rong family, said with a smile as he walked up to his mother.
"Yes! We've finally overcome all our hardships!"
Suiyi and her companion squeezed into the crowd and looked up together at the second floor of Rongjia Restaurant.
"Fellow villagers and guests, today is a joyous day for the Rong family! My third son has been able to cultivate! We are holding this banquet to celebrate, hoping that Zhuo'er will have a smooth future. For the next three days, please enjoy yourselves to the fullest. All expenses will be on my, Rong Jitian's, back. I also hope that everyone in the village will have their wishes fulfilled. Thank you all." With that, he bowed to everyone, and the doors of the restaurant opened, allowing people to enter in an orderly fashion.
"Shall we go in too?"
"Let's go! We're already here." Sui Yi followed the crowd inside and went straight to the second-floor staircase.
"Hehe! Everyone must eat and drink well!" Rong's mother called out to everyone, while Rong Qingzhuo just smiled shyly to the side.
After finding a seat by the window, someone brought over a dozen dishes. Before the women could even pick up their chopsticks, a man and a woman came over and sat down at their table.
The woman glanced at Sui Yi and Zi You; despite their air of nobility, they were still just children. She turned her head away disdainfully.
"Tch, I really don't know how adults teach kids these days. They're so young and already know how to take advantage of others. They wear nice clothes, but their actions are so base," the woman said.
"Ha! I don't know where this grandma gets the nerve to lecture us. If you look down on people who take advantage of others, why are you sitting here? And I wonder how much you're going to charge for this meal, grandma?" Ziyou retorted without any politeness.
"You...you little brat, what right do you have to talk to me like that?"
"Then what right does Grandma have to criticize me?"
Whose grandmother are you talking about?
"Who should be speaking for whom?"
"You..." The woman stood up and tried to pull Ziyou away, but Ziyou slapped her hand with a chopstick.
The woman screamed in pain, drawing everyone's attention.
Feeling utterly ashamed, the man lowered his head, walked to the woman's side, and pulled her away, intending to take her with him.
"Let me go! How dare he lay a hand on me! I'll make him pay!" the woman screamed as she tried to break free from the man's grasp.
Rong Jitian's smile vanished, his face turned cold, and he walked towards them.
"What happened?" he asked in a deep voice.
"Uncle Rong!" Upon seeing Rong Jitian approaching, the woman quieted down and timidly called out to him.
"Who are you?" Rong Jitian frowned.
"We are disciples of the Fourth Elder," the man replied respectfully.
"Oh!" he replied perfunctorily, then turned to look at Suiyi and the other person.
"Two children, what happened? Can you tell me?" He softened his tone and bent down slightly to ask.
“Immortal Rong, she looked down on us, so I taught her a small lesson.” Sui Yi didn’t speak, and didn’t even get up, before Zi You explained the situation.
"Is that so?" He looked at the woman with a stern expression, which frightened her so much that she hid behind the man.
"Master, please calm down. Junior sister didn't mean it."
"Your master should discipline her properly, otherwise she'll definitely cause trouble in the future."
"Yes, yes, I will definitely report the truth to my master when I get back."
"Hehe! Kids, everything's fine now, enjoy yourselves! Come, as an apology, I'll have Zhuo'er have a drink with you."
"No need! We're just here to join in the fun. Congratulations to Young Master Rong for getting what he wanted." Sui Yi stood up, cupped her hands to the group, and then left with Zi You.
