Chapter 339 Ginseng's Counterattack 46

The servants standing at the door were utterly astonished to see a woman following behind their young master. But it made sense; given their young master's strength and handsome appearance, it wasn't surprising to have women fawning over him. What was strange, however, was the young master's furious expression. Was this an iron tree about to bloom?

Feng Yingchen walked into his courtyard and sat in the hall. Sui Yi tiptoed over, her face full of flattery.

The man didn't say a word, not even glancing at her. Suiyi felt a little wronged. She had spent time and energy to see him, and this was just an accident, yet he was still so angry.

Since this is the first time the two of them have met in this world, I think I should take the initiative.

"Um, Young Master Feng, my name is Ci Ning. It's a pleasure to meet you."

"Really? I don't think so!" The man said expressionlessly, swirling the wine glass in his hand.

Sui Yi choked, took a deep breath, and then smiled, "That was a special case for me, it wasn't my own choice. If you don't believe me, I have witnesses." Sui Yi quickly said, releasing Qing Rong and Lu Zhiyan from the space. A white light flashed, and the two stood in the hall.

"Master!" Suiyi ran over and called out.

"Feng Yingchen?" Lu Zhiyan recognized him, but seeing her disciple's anxious expression, she was also somewhat puzzled. Of course, her lover's disciple was her own disciple.

"You're Feng Yingchen? The one Ningning has been longing for?" Qingrong looked the man up and down after hearing Lu Zhiyan's address.

The man paused after hearing Qingrong's words and glanced at Suiyi.

"Lu Zhiyan, do you know how much trouble your actions will cause? You're not a three-year-old anymore. What you're doing is causing a lot of trouble for yourself and others." Feng Yingchen wasn't usually talkative, but for some reason, he just felt inexplicably annoyed with her!

“She is my master’s wife!” Sui Yi said immediately, displeased.

"Ha! You can sort out your own problems. Besides, this isn't a place where just anyone can come."

"You..." Qing Rong was a little angry and was about to go forward to argue, but Lu Zhiyan understood Feng Yingchen's feelings, so she pulled him back and shook her head.

"Since you're not welcome, then Master, let's go." Sui Yi's chest heaved as she glanced at Feng Yingchen, that jerk who deserved a beating, and turned to leave.

"Stop! Where are you going?" Feng Yingchen's anger intensified as he spoke in a deep voice.

"You dare yell at me?" She turned to look at him, and the two faced off.

Feng Yingchen stood up and walked towards Sui Yi step by step. Every step he took felt like stepping on her heart. It was the first time she had seen him so furious, and Sui Yi softened.

"Someone come here!" He looked at Sui Yi without even raising his head and called out. A moment later, someone came in.

"Arrange for these two to stay."

"Yes, young master." After saying that, he looked at Qingrong and the other person, "Please follow me!"

"This..." Qingrong glanced at her disciple and Feng Yingchen, who were on the verge of exchanging blows, and worriedly wanted to say something.

"Let's go! They can handle their own affairs."

After the eyesore left, Feng Yingchen picked up Sui Yi and carried her inside. He moved around a few times in his bedroom, revealing a dark room, and carried Sui Yi inside.

After Sui Yi was put down, she stood still and glanced at him before looking into the dark room. The dark room was inlaid with a dozen or so luminous pearls, making it as bright as day. There was only a table and many paintings hanging inside, all of which were paintings of beautiful women. What was special was that these paintings were faceless, which looked quite eerie.

However, these beauties gave me a sense of familiarity, and I didn't know where I had seen them before.

Why did you bring me here?

Without a word, the man pressed her down into a chair and sat down at the desk himself. "Look at me!"

"Huh?" Sui Yi looked over, puzzled. Judging from the posture, was he asking her to be his model?

Feng Yingchen wrote with divine inspiration, glanced at Sui Yi, and then quickly began to write again. Sui Yi stared blankly at the man's serious expression for a while, and then, bored, she fell asleep! There was nothing she could do; she hadn't rested much these past two days in order to keep up with the journey, and even relaxing made her feel exhausted.

After Feng Yingchen put down his brush, he stared blankly at the portrait of the lady before him. It depicted Sui Yi with her eyes open. A crimson glint flashed in Feng Yingchen's eyes. He looked up at the sleeping woman, stood up, gently lifted her up, carried her out of the dark room, placed her on his bed, and pulled the covers over her. He didn't leave, however, but instead gazed intently at Sui Yi, tracing her outline with his long, slender fingers.

As he grew up, every night he would hear a woman's voice, different attire, different appearances, different backgrounds, but he knew it was the same person. He relied on intuition to draw her during the day, but without exception, he could never draw her face well, because he didn't know how to draw it correctly. Many times he drew a face, but he always felt that it was not what he wanted. Therefore, he drew more and more, but none of them had a face. He never expected that just going out for a walk today would bring him such a huge harvest. The moment he saw her, he was filled with anger and resentment. He just felt that her red dress was very irritating. It seemed that this dress could only be worn by him.

For the first time, I lost my mind and wanted to strangle her, but I couldn't bring myself to do it. Was this something I owed her in a past life, that made me unable to have peace in this one?

As Feng Yingchen watched, he took off his shoes, lay down on the bed, and embraced her. In that instant, for the first time, he felt not emptiness, but contentment. He rested his head on top of hers, inhaling the fragrance of her hair, and closed his bright eyes.

On the other side, Qingrong paced back and forth, glancing outside every now and then, but as time passed, she still hadn't seen the person she was looking for, and she felt deeply frustrated.

"Alright! Stop shaking it! It's making me dizzy." Lu Zhiyan put down her teacup and looked at Qingrong helplessly.

"I'm worried. I don't know how Ningning is doing. That Feng Yingchen doesn't seem like someone easy to deal with."

“She’s indeed not easy to deal with, and she’s ruthless.” Lu Zhiyan nodded seriously.

"What?" This statement terrified Qingrong. Her own disciple was so soft and cute; he was definitely no match for Feng Yingchen.

"No, I have to go check it out."

"Alright! Why are you meddling in their private matters? Don't ruin their happy time." Lu Zhiyan sighed, thinking, "How can someone so old act like they've never grown up? I'm just scaring myself."

"I..." Qingrong didn't know what she should do either, and sat back down dejectedly.

"Can't you see? Although Feng Yingchen is furious, he has been holding back in front of your disciple. He's probably angry because he saw Ningning wearing a wedding dress, but not for him. It's no wonder lovers get angry about that. Look at me, I'm also very unhappy wearing a wedding dress, aren't I?"

After Lu Zhiyan's prompting, Qingrong became more rational.
