Chapter 48 The Cannon Fodder Female Thief's Comeback Story 1

Sui Yi spent a month in the real world this time. Originally, it was only fifteen days, but because Sui Yi did not return to reality from the second world, it accumulated to a month. After finishing two novels in the last few days, Sui Yi prepared to enter the fourth mission world.

"System, begin the teleportation," Sui Yi said calmly to the system.

"Alright, Master, you'd better get ready!"

Sui Yi couldn't help but rub her forehead, "Tong'er, you still talk as much nonsense as ever."

system:"……".

After a flash of white light, Suiyi felt excruciating pain all over her body. She slowly opened her eyes to find herself surrounded by complete darkness, without a single ray of light. She had no idea what was happening. At this point, Suiyi would be a complete idiot not to realize she'd been tricked by the system.

Sui Yi said, "Tong'er, you're something else! You came up with such a big move."

System: "Didn't I tell you to be prepared? You didn't listen to me, so it's really not my fault."

Sui Yi: "A gentleman takes revenge, even after ten years."

System: "Oh dear, I'm so scared!"

Sui Yi: "Your creator should not have named you Star, but rather Good-for-Nothing."

System: "You're the one who's cheap, your whole family is cheap." The system retorted, but immediately fell silent. It seemed that when it said that Sui Yi's whole family was... well, you know, it had included itself, as well as that person it absolutely couldn't afford to offend.

Sui Yi: "Stop talking nonsense and hurry up and check if there are any residents around here?"

The system snorted, but knowing the priorities, it searched for a moment and then said to Suiyi, "There's no village or shop in sight. The only thing you can use is the main road not far away. Get down quickly. A car will be here in five minutes. Whether you get rescued or not depends on luck!"

Upon hearing this, Sui Yi struggled to her feet. It was pitch black all around, and she couldn't see anything. Sui Yi limped cautiously as she walked. Following the system's instructions, it took her a full three minutes to finally emerge from the woods. Panting, Sui Yi stood on the road for over a minute, the blinding headlights causing her to reflexively close her eyes. The car drove past her, leaving only a trail of exhaust fumes.

"Damn it. Ugh, ugh, ugh!" Sui Yi was furious. Instead of getting help, she ended up inhaling a mouthful of car exhaust fumes. She could only silently praise the wicked driver in her heart.

In the car that drove by, the driver said, "Master, there was a humanoid monster standing by the roadside just now."

"What kind of eyes do you have? Is that a human being?" the passenger in the front seat couldn't help but complain.

"A person? This place is deserted, dark and windy. Who would be so foolish as to linger here? Could it be a ghost?" The man driving the car trembled. He was a little uneasy about the unknown.

"Nonsense, you've killed people, why are you afraid of ghosts? What a coward. Just go and see for yourself whether it's a person or a ghost." After saying that, the two of them turned to look at the person resting with their eyes closed in the back seat. They saw that the person had sharp features and an exquisite face that reflected the noble and domineering air of someone in a high position. The thick black eyelashes trembled, and although the person did not open their eyes, they could already feel two expectant gazes.

"Are you all bored?" The man's lips parted slightly, and a cold yet magnetic voice came from within.

"Hehe! Patriarch, it's been a while since we've had anything exciting. We want to go see who that was," said the man driving.

"Okay! But don't let it interfere with our business." Clearly, the man was quite tolerant of the two people in the car.

"Okay!" After answering, the driver stepped on the brake, turned the steering wheel, and with a neat spin, the car reversed in a flash.

At this moment, Sui Yi remained standing motionless, seemingly frozen in place. In reality, she was terrified. She had just heard a strange noise from the woods behind her, and her hair had stood on end. Normally, no matter how calm a person is, if they can't show it on their face when they're afraid, it's just a facade. Suddenly, a white light came from her right side, and Sui Yi reflexively covered her eyes.

With a sudden stop, the car came to a halt in front of Sui Yi. The window rolled down, and Sui Yi lowered her hand, seeing two people sitting in the front seat. The two people looked at her curiously, as if they were sizing her up. "I told you, it's a person, but you didn't believe me."

"Hey, what are you doing here?" the man in the passenger seat asked the driver, then looked out the window and asked Suiyi.

"Um, I was kidnapped, but I just escaped. Could you kindly give me a ride?" Suiyi asked.

"Hey, she actually said we're good people," the driver chuckled upon hearing this.

"Little sister, we two brothers can't make the decision about this car. If you can get the people in the back seat to nod, we can let you in," the man said teasingly, looking at Sui Yi.

Sui Yi: "..." These two are definitely just messing with me. But considering the pain in my body, I have no choice but to give it a try, regardless of whether it's true or not.
