Chapter Nineteen: The Underachiever's Comeback Story 5

After school, Suiyi stretched, got up, put her books away, and left the library. She found her uncle's car at the school gate, got in, and drove off.

In the car, he asked, "Uncle, did Grandpa ask me to go back today for something?"

"Didn't you ask your grandpa to find you a tutor yesterday, honey? Grandpa found a really good one, and I want you to go meet him."

"So fast? Did Grandpa conduct an assessment? The tutor I need not only needs to be a high school graduate, but also needs to be proficient in university-level knowledge."

He looked at Suiyi with relief and said, "Don't worry, how could your grandfather not care about your affairs? I heard that this teacher is a PhD graduate who just returned from a prestigious overseas university. It would be a waste of his talents to have him teach! Moreover, I heard that he once represented the country in the International Motion Picture Competition and won the championship."

"That's amazing?"

"You'll know when you see them!"

In Liu Xingge's maternal grandfather's study, Mu Yihan and her grandfather were playing chess together. Their moves were a fierce battle. Liu Xingge lost to Mu Yihan by a single move.

"Mr. Mu, you truly deserve to be Professor Shi's disciple. Your move in this game has surpassed even your teacher's!"

"Mr. Liu, you flatter me. I am far from being good enough. If you hadn't been so lenient with me, how could I have won a move against you?"

"Haha! Mr. Mu, don't be modest. It was truly enjoyable playing a game with you today!"

"Please don't call me Mr. Mu, just call me Yihan."

"Haha! Good! Yihan, I presume Lao Zhuang has already told you why I invited you here!"

"Mm!" Mu Yihan replied with a slight smile.

"Oh! It's rare that my granddaughter has such ambition. Ever since her parents died, she has been depressed. A few days ago, she asked me to find her a tutor. She must have come to her senses. How could I not give my granddaughter the best of everything?"

"With Elder Liu's good intentions, I believe everything will be alright," Mu Yihan replied, taking a small sip of tea.

"I hope so. Let's not talk about such discouraging things. Let me tell you, my granddaughter is so beautiful, but she doesn't care about her appearance. Look at those glasses of hers, they're almost two-thirds the size of her face, and she still has so many bangs. Her style of dress is so outdated in my eyes, what a waste of such a pretty face." Grandpa Liu couldn't stop complaining about his granddaughter. Mu Yihan just found it amusing. But his face remained gentle and refined, showing no sign of it. He was actually looking forward to meeting her.

With a click, the study door opened. "Grandpa, you actually spat out your granddaughter? Are you even her biological daughter?" Sui Yi had just entered and headed straight for the study when she heard her grandfather complaining about her. She couldn't help but speak up first!

"Look at you, you have no manners at all, don't you know how to knock first?" Grandpa Liu said with a laugh.

"It's all because Grandpa said bad things about me." Suiyi pouted, then looked at the person watching her from the side. The anger in her heart was about to explode!

"Hey! Grandpa, who is this gentleman?" His eyes glanced at Mu Yihan. "What are you doing at my house?"

Mu Yihan looked at her and said, "It was your maternal grandfather who invited me here."

Sui Yi said, "You better behave yourself. If you dare to expose my secrets, you'll be sorry."

When Sui Yi saw that Mu Yihan was no longer looking at her, she thought he had been threatened by her, but she was furious at what he said next!

"So your granddaughter is Xingge. It seems we are truly destined to meet," Mu Yihan said to Grandpa Liu.

"oh?"

“I am currently Xingge’s homeroom teacher,” Mu Yihan replied.

"That's fate! It's our good fortune to be taught by you. Ge'er, quickly make some tea for your teacher, so I can see if your skills have deteriorated."

Suiyi hated that damned man to death, but she didn't dare to disobey him in front of her grandfather and could only obediently do as he said.

"How is Xingge's skill?"

"Not bad, this is the best tea I've ever had." Mu Yihan smiled gently at Sui Yi, and Sui Yi really wanted to tear off his mask.
