Chapter 338 The Queen's Killer Back View (4)

In Chu Nian's view, intention, spiritual power, and soul power all refer to the same thing: power emanating from the depths of the soul.

Sensing that someone had opened the Chamber of Thought, the Bat King led a group of smaller bats to pay homage. They had been waiting there for many days.

It turns out that the Chamber of Mind was a treasure left behind by the original owner of the Bat King. When the original owner left, he instructed the Bat King that whoever could open the Chamber of Mind could become its new master.

So now, Chu Nian is the master of these bats and can control all of them.

Chu Nian asked, puzzled, "Who was your original owner?"

Bat King: "Cain."

That's a very concise and to-the-point answer!

Chu Nian asked, "Is he also a vampire?"

Bat King: "No. He is the Son of God." There was a hint of pride in his voice when he said the last sentence.

Chu Nian: "Then why would he have books related to the vampire, wizard, and werewolf races?" The books in the second cave were probably collected by Cain, not Dracula.

Bat King: "These three races were originally descendants of the master, but the gods considered them evil and rejected them. The gods made a bet with Cain that if the three races did not do evil or harm people, they would be allowed to exist."

Cain, fearing that the three races would provoke the weaker humans due to their own power, divided his abilities into three categories and passed them on to the three races respectively, so that they would restrain each other, fight each other endlessly, and have no time to provoke humans.

That sounds like truly great fatherly love. Chu Nian added, "But Cain doesn't seem to appear in the murals in the cave that depict the origins of the vampires."

Bat King: "I started painting the murals after the appearance of the previous generation of Dracula, the low-level mutated vampire who inherited his skills from me. The first painting was done about four hundred years ago. But the real vampires have existed for much longer than just these past years."

The conflict between the three races once led to the extinction of the vampire clan. To preserve the lineage, my master stored vampire blood within me, so that I could find humans to carry on the legacy. In fact, wizards and werewolves have faced similar situations, and they generally resolved them in the same way.

Therefore, vampires, werewolves, and wizards are all considered hybrids of humans and gods. Chu Nian finally understood somewhat.

The Bat King prostrated himself on the ground again and said, "Master, you have successfully opened the Chamber of Thought. You are our new master and will become the new leader of the three races. From now on, the heavy responsibility of the revival of the three races will fall on your shoulders... Uh, where is he?"

Chu Nian had already disappeared.

She has no objection to becoming the leader and having all three races listen to, obey, and serve her. However, she will not shoulder the burden of the three races' revival, whichever is in the best interest of her.

So, is she staying here waiting for the old Bat King to assign her a restoration mission?

She doesn't care if she doesn't shoulder heavy responsibilities or become the leader of the three races. After all, being a leader is just a title; ultimately, it's who has the strongest fist who decides.

Chu Nian returned to the original owner's residence.

The original owner of this body had never been favored by Dracula. Although the residence arranged for her was of princely caliber, its location was extremely remote. This suited Chu Nian perfectly; she didn't want to associate with these arrogant and self-important fellows.

It's possible that Prince Nian has been missing for a month, and the original servants here have all dispersed. When Chu Nian arrived, the place was covered in dust, and the grass and trees in the garden had become quite lush. She also saw several snakes slithering in and out of the grass.

When they entered the castle where the original owner lived in the manor, many of the chandeliers and glass were broken, and the tables and chairs were covered in dust.

Chu Nian opened her lips and softly uttered a string of ancient incantations. This was a wizard's spell, normally activated by the magical power within a wizard's bloodline. However, those with sufficiently strong willpower could also learn and use witchcraft.

Like the female protagonist Anna, she was originally a vampire, but with the help of a witch, she mutated and later even summoned the fire of her mind.

Soon, the dirty and messy castle was restored to its original state, spotless. As for the manor outside the castle, Chu Nian quite liked the naturally growing scenery, so she let it be.

After a month of hard work in the Alsino Mountains, Chu Nian hadn't had much rest. Now that she was back at the original owner's manor, she naturally wanted to find a comfortable room to get some rest.

No sooner had she lay down on a large, soft bed than she heard noises outside. First, there were light footsteps, then another person's footsteps. Then came the woman's voice: "Sophia, this is Stuart's manor. What are you doing here?"

Another young woman's voice said, "I sensed a wizard here just now."

The witch Chu Nian remembered who helped the female protagonist mutate was named Sophia, and the original owner of this body had also been in contact with her and recognized her voice.

Chu Nian used her mental power to probe out and found Anna and Sophia standing in front of the castle, looking around.

Sofia pointed to the glass window and said, "Look, the glass is very clean, as if someone just cleaned it."

Anna: "How could that be? This place was abandoned after Stuart left. Dracula said she would never come back."

Sophia looked at her with a hint of helplessness and said, "Didn't you say you were going to come back and take revenge on him? Why do you still trust him so much?"

Anna: "There are many ways to take revenge. Besides, Stuart is gone, and many vampires can attest to that."

Sofia looked at Anna helplessly.

Anna: "You don't believe me?"

Sofia gestured with her chin towards the castle: "There should be people inside right now."

Anna: "But you just said you sensed a wizard."

Sophia: "A wizard will not set foot in vampire territory alone unless he finds a vampire willing to help him."

Anna then became nervous and said, "You mean there must be another vampire with that wizard?"

Sofia: "Let's go in and take a look!" she said, stepping into the castle.

"Wait a minute," Anna said quickly, reaching out to grab her.

Sophia turned her head, her gaze still showing a hint of helplessness, and said, "What are you afraid of? You wouldn't be defeated even if you faced Dracula now, let alone a second-generation prince who was just embraced by Dracula."

Anna said seriously, "She killed Nicholas and Peter." These two were the two men in tuxedos that Chu Nian had thrown into the fire the moment she transmigrated. "We should be careful, shouldn't we?"

Sofia: "She hates Dracula just like you and me."

Sophia's father was originally the most powerful wizard of the time, but he was killed by Dracula because he disagreed with cooperating with him.

After saying that, Sofia shook off Anna's arm and walked into the castle. Anna thought for a moment, then followed her in.

At this point, Anna and Dracula had not completely resolved their misunderstandings, and unless Sofia directly killed Dracula, Anna would not likely stand against Sofia, since it was Sofia who helped Anna mutate.
