Chapter 340 The Queen's Killer Back View (6)

Because he exerted too much force, he couldn't stop in time. After entering the room, he continued to rush forward like an arrow for a distance. Then, with a loud bang, his head smashed through the door facing the window, and he flipped over the railing across the passageway outside the door.

After vaulting over the second-floor railing, Dracula finally managed to pull back and land on the ground: Chu Nian was a little disappointed that he didn't fall flat on his back.

Chu Nian got out of bed, opened the dilapidated door, walked to the second-floor railing, and looked down at Dracula. He was a handsome white man with brown hair, a high nose, blue eyes, and blood-red lips, which not only made him look sinister but also added to his mystery.

Chu Nian smiled gently and said, "Dracula, my dearest father, what brings you to my castle so late at night?"

Dracula had always found her aged voice utterly repulsive, but today, this old woman's voice possessed a strange magnetism, as if it were a vintage wine steeped in the passage of time, making one unconsciously savor its charm.

Dracula didn't like this feeling. No matter how outstanding the woman was, it couldn't change the fact that she was old. Her wrinkled face, even though she was smiling so elegantly and calmly, made the scene before him look like a masterpiece worth treasuring forever, but he still felt that this woman was his shame.

He said coldly, "You dare to hurt my Anna. This time, I won't let you escape from under my nose again."

Chu Nian: "This is my castle. No matter your status or your relationship with the owner, you are just a guest here. Don't even think about turning the tables."

Dracula: "You've probably forgotten who gave you this castle. Since I can give it to you, I can take it back at any time."

Chu Nian: "You've probably forgotten that everything here never originally belonged to you."

Dracula: "Enough with the nonsense. Today I'll make you pay for my two sons' lives." With that, he stretched out his palm, from which invisible blood energy emanated.

Dracula should soon discover that although he couldn't kill Nen before, he still had the power to suppress his child's bloodline as a vampire father; but that power seems to have disappeared now.

He felt he could no longer restrain himself towards Chu Nian. He was horrified when he realized this, and although his expression remained unchanged, his brows furrowed slightly.

He immediately unleashed his blood energy from his palms exponentially: even if he couldn't kill the woman, he would torture her, making her suffer a fate worse than death, just like before.

However, when his blood energy reached Chu Nian, it encountered an invisible barrier, which was very similar to the barrier that Dracula had encountered when he rammed the window earlier.

Dracula didn't believe Chu Nian had this ability. Recalling what Sophia had said about the wizard, he couldn't help but sneer and said, "Nian, you heard that Anna has returned and allied with a very powerful wizard, so you followed suit and found a wizard to come back, is that right? Do you think that will allow you to stand against me, Dracula?"

Chu Nian didn't speak, but tried to use her mental power to destroy the blood energy in Dracula's palm. Unfortunately, this body had limited endurance, and she couldn't exert her mental power to the maximum.

It seems she won't be able to kill Dracula for the time being.

Chu Nian was a little annoyed, and suddenly threw a fire talisman at Dracula that could be activated with a little mental power—it is said that vampires are afraid of fire.

Caught off guard, Dracula was struck squarely by the fire talisman, and his body instantly burst into flames. Chu Nian, seeing him transformed into a human torch, became exceptionally alert, wondering if he would turn to ash like his two sons, when suddenly his entire body emitted a beam of red light.

The red light quickly separated Dracula from the fire, and the fire went out moments later.

Although Dracula suffered burns all over his body, his burns healed rapidly at a visible speed thanks to the powerful healing energy of his blood.

Dracula felt his body had fully recovered, though he had lost a lot of energy. He breathed a sigh of relief: when he was engulfed in flames, he thought he was really going to die.

Why do I feel so cold all over?

Suddenly, a voice came from the second floor, cold and stern, with the tone of an elder reprimanding a junior. It shouted, "Dracula, why are you visiting me without any clothes on? Are you trying to seduce me by being naked?"

What's most infuriating is that as soon as the voice rang out, Dracula heard it echoing throughout the vampire territory: this woman must have used some special ability to make her words resound throughout the entire vampire clan.

Dracula hadn't felt "helplessness" for hundreds of years, but today he experienced it for the first time.

He was at a loss for what to do. He desperately wanted to get rid of the old woman on the second floor, but based on his past experience, he knew that no matter what methods he used, he couldn't get rid of her.

So, after a moment's hesitation, he had no choice but to leave. He needed to go back to his estate first—to get dressed.

"Dracula," the old woman's authoritative voice rang out again from the castle behind him, "If you dare to come before me so shamelessly again, don't blame me for being impolite."

At this moment, the entire vampire clan seemed to stand still. What was usually a lively time for the vampire clan at night was now as quiet as an empty valley, with only the sound of the night wind.

Many nobles were holding a banquet in the manor, enjoying specially made fine wines and delicacies, when they were all stunned by the two sentences that pierced the night sky and spread throughout the vampire territory.

Anna, who was in her castle, looking at the snake bite wounds on her body in the mirror and feeling sorry for herself, heard these two sentences and thought she must be dreaming, or hallucinating from snake venom: in any case, those two sentences could not possibly be true.

However, she used her blood energy to heal her wounds, and when she went out, she saw Sophia, as if watching a melon, grabbing the servants and asking them if they had heard the princess say: Dracula went to find her without wearing any clothes.

The servants were all sent by Dracula and were all his confidants. They dared not discuss the king's embarrassing affairs. Seeing Sophia asking questions with a gossipy look on her face, they could only keep saying "I didn't hear it" and "I don't know," and dared not admit that they had heard such things.

Sofia could only give them the middle finger in the end to show her contempt for them.

They were all lower-class vampires, so naturally they dared not refute anything. They quickly got rid of the witch and went as far away as possible.

Sofia turned around and saw Anna coming down from the second floor. She quickly stepped forward to greet her and asked with a smile, "Anna, did you hear what that old prince shouted just now?"

Anna replied expressionlessly, "What did you say? I didn't hear you."
