Chapter 345 The Queen's Killer Back View (11)

Sophia said resolutely, "There's no point in considering it anymore. That's it, the contract is dissolved." After saying that, she used magic to sign the contract, dissolving it.

Anna was so angry that her eyes almost popped out: feeling that this witch was so ungrateful, she simply flung her hand and signed with her own blood.

She said coldly, "The contract has been terminated. Are you satisfied now?" She paused, then added, "In my castle, no one has dared to do anything to you. But once you leave my manor, I can't guarantee anything. You'd better watch yourself!" With that, she turned and strode upstairs with a cold face.

Honestly, Anna overestimated herself. All the servants and guards in her castle were Dracula's men, and they had long since reported every single thing the two of them did to Dracula.

Sophia was determined to kill Dracula, so why would he leave this threat alive? Therefore, as soon as the contract here was broken, Dracula used his blood energy to contact all the third-generation vampires in the manor and quickly surrounded and killed Sophia.

On the other hand, Dracula secretly activated his blood energy to isolate Anna's room from the outside world. This way, Anna wouldn't know if a fight broke out outside.

So, when Sofia returned to her room, still furious with herself for trusting Anna, the killing intent was already upon her. Four third-generation Bloodlust warriors were the first to pounce, rushing straight into Sofia's room through the window.

Seeing this, Sophia tossed out several magic scrolls. She couldn't possibly arrive in enemy territory without any protective measures, especially since she had come to kill Dracula. So she brought a lot of these things that could increase combat power and activate quickly.

After throwing out the scroll, she began chanting incantations and unleashed her most proficient fire magic.

Half an hour later, the entire Anna Manor was ablaze, but because Dracula had used his powers to isolate Anna's room from the outside world, not a single spark was caught, and she didn't notice the fierce battle raging outside.

It must be said that Sophia dared to come to the vampire territory alone for a reason. She is now the most powerful witch among wizards, with considerable magical skill. In addition, she carried many scrolls, magic crystals and other tools to aid in combat. She fought a group of third and fourth generation vampires for half a day. Although she was injured, she showed no signs of defeat.

The exits from the vampire territory had been blocked by Dracula's personal guards. Sophia fought her way out for a while but then realized something was wrong; she couldn't break through at all.

Thus, she had no choice but to find another way, and retreated towards Nian's manor while fighting. She wasn't really sure the other party would help her, after all, they weren't familiar with each other, and besides, she had been Anna's ally before.

Although Anna and Nian had not publicly fought before, Sophia had long sensed their discord from Anna's attitude.

However, the enemy of my enemy is my friend. If Nian can save her, it will at least increase her chances of killing Dracula.

She now had nowhere to retreat but to Nian's manor, because the guards there seemed to be far fewer than those at the exit.

However, there were countless third and fourth generation vampires relentlessly pursuing her. No matter how powerful her magic was, she was ultimately no match for so many opponents. After fighting for more than half an hour, she was covered in blood. Even without fatal wounds, she would likely lose her fighting ability soon due to excessive blood loss.

She fought as she retreated, the firelight painting half the sky, making the stars in the night sky seem brighter than ever before.

She finally retreated to the outside of Nian's manor, but was blocked at the gate by several guards. These men had already discovered her intentions.

“Sophia Blunt,” Duke Albert said coldly, “do you really think that retreating this way will get that old woman to your aid? Don’t be delusional.”

Even if she's at odds with King Dracula, she's still his daughter, a princess of my vampire clan. She would never truly oppose King Dracula because of an outsider like you.

These were exactly what Sophia was worried about. Nian Stewart, having been tortured and abused by Dracula for decades, had never dared to truly oppose him. Although she had killed two of Dracula's sons, wasn't she still going to return to the vampire territory? She and Dracula hadn't publicly declared war on each other.

Would she really break with Dracula and start a war today for the sake of herself, an outsider, especially a witch who has always been at odds with, or even hostile to, the vampires?

But Sofia had no other choice. She could only turn to the woman in the manor behind her for help.

She finally used the last of her magical power to unleash a powerful attack spell, breaking through the several vampires blocking the manor entrance. Then she activated her last wind magic scroll, propelling herself into the manor.

A large number of vampires swarmed in, trying to rush in after her, but a blood-red light suddenly shone at the entrance of the manor, blocking the vampires outside.

Albert paused, momentarily stunned. The aura of blood energy emanating from this barrier of light... it looked so much like...

He wasn't mistaken. The fourth-generation vampire was far weaker than the third-generation vampire, and was already somewhat out of control, forced to kneel on one knee by the overwhelming power emanating from the blood energy barrier.

"The King actually set up a protective barrier for Nianqin?" Albert was so shocked that he couldn't believe it and finally exclaimed.

Previously, Nian*Stuart was seen as an image the King disliked. No one knew she was one of the King's chosen ones, but despite her powerful bloodline and princely rank, she had no dealings with other vampires and never held banquets like other princes and nobles.

Until she herself revealed that she was the king's first love, news of the king's mistreatment and dislike of her spread quickly; even worse, the king sent two other princes to kill her, but they failed and instead lost both princes.

Everyone assumed that although Wang and Nian were father and son, they had become sworn enemies. But now... Wang has actually set up a protective barrier for her manor?

With this barrier, all of them, the vampires, were kept outside the manor.

Attack? Are you kidding me? This is a barrier personally set up by King Dracula. Who would dare to attack it recklessly?

Albert quickly sent one of his men to the royal court to inquire about Dracula's orders.

Dracula was shocked to hear that the army he had sent to kill Sophia at Nian's manor had been stopped by the barrier he himself had erected. He had indeed set up a barrier, but it was only for monitoring Nian's words and actions and had no protective function.

He ordered a full-scale attack.

But as soon as he uttered the order, he heard the somewhat aged voice of a woman from the distant manor.
