"...Instead of seeking natural food for vampires, you only think about leading your vampire subjects to drink human blood, thereby reducing many highly intelligent people to countless low-level vampires with no intelligence."
You are deeply sinful and unaware of it. You not only fool your vampire subjects, but also dream of becoming king forever.
"Dracula, God never abandoned the vampires; it was you who led them to abandon God. You treacherous and shameless scoundrel, today I will punish you in the name of God!"
As she spoke, the woman stretched out a palm, and lightning suddenly shot out from her palm. Because the speed was too fast, Dracula was unable to dodge and was hit squarely by the lightning.
"Ah!" Dracula screamed in agony, countless electric snakes crackling across his body. His clothes burst into flames again, and his previously neatly styled hair was once again a frizzy mess.
Anna, standing to the side, was completely stunned by the scene before her. Chu Nian sighed inwardly: What a silly female lead!
After the lightning strike, the kite-like woman vanished without a trace, seemingly blown away by the wind.
A single lightning strike couldn't harm Dracula at all, but his clothes were gone again, and his hair stood on end like electrical wires. Especially since this had happened in front of his beloved woman, he felt even more humiliated, a disgrace he would never forget.
"Nian Stuart Grete, one day I'll tear you to pieces!" he said through gritted teeth, already flying backward: He had no choice but to hurry back and get dressed!
But a woman's deafening laughter erupted from inside the manor: "Pfft... Haha... Haha..."
The laughter was Sophia's, and Dracula recognized it immediately, which fueled his hatred for her even more. Now, Sophia, like Nian, was on his death list.
Anna was startled back to her senses by the laughter, and after a moment of shock, she hurried back to her manor. Upon arriving and seeing the ruins, she realized that her manor had been almost entirely burned down.
“Your Highness, the King has instructed that you may stay temporarily at the Royal Court until your estate is repaired,” a servant reported to her.
After half a day, Sophia had recovered from her injuries using a special potion from the wizard. She entered Chu Nian's castle.
She remembered the room Chu Nian had come out of when she arrived last night, so she went upstairs, knocked on the door a few times, and said, "Nian, may I come in?"
"I'm here," Chu Nian's voice came from another room.
Sophie quickly bypassed the long corridor and entered the room, only to find it was a huge study with tall bookshelves that reached all the way to the ceiling, filled with books from top to bottom, forming wall after wall of books.
Chu Nian sat on a large movable ladder in front of a wall of books, flipping through a thick book.
Sophia walked over and asked in surprise, "What book are you reading?"
Chu Nian: "The so-called secret history of the vampires."
"Oh?" Sophia asked curiously, "What secret history is recorded on it?"
Chu Nian chuckled and said, "They're all just a bunch of deceptive stories praising King Dracula." With that, she handed the book down to Sophia.
Sophia reached out and took the painting, flipping through it casually. She noticed many paintings and then saw a portrait of Anna. She said, "There's even a portrait of Anna here, but the label underneath says her name is Julie. What's going on?"
Chu Nian: "It is said that Anna is Julie, Dracula's wife before he became a vampire." She climbed down the ladder.
Sophia asked in bewilderment, "Why did you decide to read this secret history?" Since she thought it was full of articles praising Dracula, Nian shouldn't like reading it.
Chu Nian said, "I'm just curious about how deep Dracula's love for his wife really is."
Sophia pursed her lips and said, "Anyway, I don't think he's the kind of... uh, good man." This vampire is so violent, it's impossible for him to be really good to a woman.
Chu Nian nodded, walked behind the desk and sat down, saying calmly, "I've heard that the wizarding clan has a very magical spell called 'Shifting Wind and Shadow'."
Sophia: "I have indeed heard of this kind of magic, but it's an ancient magic that has been lost for a long time, and now..." She shook her head helplessly, then suddenly asked curiously, "Where is your magician?"
Chu Nian smiled slightly and admitted, "I don't have any magicians."
Sophia: "Impossible. I can clearly feel magical energy throughout your castle."
Chu Nian chuckled twice more, then suddenly began to softly recite an ancient and obscure incantation.
Sophia stared at Chu Nian in utter shock, for she could clearly sense that the spell was filled with magical energy, far more powerful than any magical energy she possessed or could use.
Then, she noticed that the woman's aged face was becoming younger at a visible speed.
“This is…” Sophia could hardly believe her eyes. “Shifting the wind and changing the image? This is a real magic. My God, my magic teacher when I was a child once said that she always doubted that this kind of magic was just a legend.”
Meanwhile, Anna had already moved into the royal residence with the help of the servants.
Dracula had recovered and, though somewhat embarrassed to see his beloved because of his earlier embarrassment, he still came to the magnificent main hall to personally greet Anna.
The two were chatting on a sofa on one side of the palace. Dracula tried to smile elegantly, while Anna chose to temporarily forget the fact that Dracula had another woman he had just been with and the fact that he had made a series of embarrassing mistakes.
The atmosphere during their conversation was very warm and friendly.
But as they talked, Dracula noticed Anna's expression change and exclaimed in horror, "Anna, your face... what happened to your face?"
Anna, still holding a wine glass, was surprised to hear his words and asked, "What's wrong?" She put the glass down on the table and then looked at her own hand. Her once delicate skin was now as old as tree bark, with clearly visible veins.
She was startled and exclaimed in horror, "My hand!" Then she noticed Dracula staring at her as if she had seen a ghost, and quickly reached out to touch her face, only to find that her once smooth and flawless skin had become rough and loose.
"Ah, my face, my face..." she cried out in pain. Seeing a mirror on a table not far away, she rushed over to look at herself and saw a face so old that she couldn't bear to look at it. She could hardly believe that this was her.
"Oh my god, what happened to my face? How did I become like this? My face... my face..." Anna cried out in anguish.
When she turned around and saw Dracula's strange gaze, she felt even more pained and extremely ashamed.
