Anna was, after all, a second-generation vampire, whose abilities far surpassed those of the third and fourth-generation vampires who guarded her. Although Dracula had sent many guards to watch over her, after several days of effort, she still managed to find an opportunity to escape from the royal court and arrive at Chu Nian's manor.
She entered the castle without any hindrance and saw Chu Nian and Sophia sitting face to face at the dining table in the restaurant, having dinner together.
"Oh, we have a guest." Chu Nian said, feigning surprise when she saw Anna.
Sofia stared at Anna for a while before recognizing her, and exclaimed in surprise, "Anna, how did you know her?" Then she turned to look at Chu Nian.
Anna stared at the now-young Chu Nian until Sophia spoke to her, at which point she snapped out of her daze, pointing at Chu Nian and saying, "Nian Stuart Grete, why? Why are you decades younger?" Why is there no such rumor in the royal court?
When Lan Jia returned, he didn't dare report this to Dracula at all. He also didn't dare mention it when spreading those rumors: such things are extremely damaging and even more insulting; what would Anna think if she found out?
As for Wang Dracula, even if he knew about this, he would probably just quietly pretend to be cool.
Lana has been King Dracula's close attendant for a hundred years and has long had a clear understanding of this vampire king.
The reason he's alive and well is simply because he's an extremely cautious person, even when he's sleeping he has to be half-awake—afraid of speaking his mind in his sleep and offending Dracula.
Chu Nian smiled faintly and said, "There is a kind of magic called teleportation..." She explained this magic in great detail.
Anna looked at Sophia with a hurt expression and said, "Sophia, you actually helped her steal my youth? How could you do this to me?"
Sofia, who was caught in the crossfire, was speechless for a moment before coldly saying, "It wasn't me."
"Who else could it be but you?" Anna snapped. "Are there other wizards here? Aren't there just the two of you?"
Sofia was utterly disappointed in Anna. How could Anna not trust her at all? How did those two ever end up making that contract in such a muddled way? Luckily, she realized her mistake in time and dissolved the contract.
Since Anna didn't believe her, she didn't want to explain any further and simply continued eating her dinner.
Anna said to Chu Nian, "Give me back my youth."
Chu Nian said gracefully and calmly, "I have already had Lan Jia convey my conditions. As long as Dracula agrees, I can restore your youth immediately."
Anna felt a pang of heartache upon hearing this, and tears streamed down her face. The rumors were true, but Dracula had no intention of agreeing to this woman's demands, so he chose to sacrifice her.
She loved Dracula to the point of obsession, but she never expected that Dracula would be so indifferent to her.
If he can be so indifferent to me, why did he provoke me in the first place? Why did he abduct me to the vampire clan and force me into his embrace?
Sofia had ultimately been on good terms with her, and although she thought Anna was an unreliable person, she had always believed that Chu Nian's actions were wrong. At this moment, she felt a little sorry for her and said, "I said, Nian..."
Before she could finish speaking, Chu Nian already knew what she was going to say and interrupted her with a smile, saying, "I suddenly have a new idea."
Sofia looked at her smiling eyes, which were narrowed into crescents, and suddenly felt a chill run down her spine. She blurted out, "What mischievous idea have you come up with this time?"
Chu Nian smiled and said, "I wonder what would happen if we used the teleportation spell to switch Anna and Dracula's situations?"
Sophia was taken aback for a moment, then immediately nodded in agreement: "That's a good idea." In her opinion, Dracula was a man for whom any misfortune could befall him.
Chu Nian smiled and raised an eyebrow, continuing to eat the food on her plate: What a hypocritical little witch!
Anna finally realized, belatedly, that not only Sophia, but even Nian was eating human food. She exclaimed in shock, "Nian*Stretu*Grete, are you out of your mind?! Eating human food!"
Chu Nian smiled and said, "I have already mutated twice, so I can eat any human food I want."
Anna murmured in disbelief, "How is this possible?"
Chu Nian laughed and said, "Don't be surprised. If you eat the fruits that grow in the Alsino Mountains for a few days like I do, and drink the saltwater lake water there for a while, you will become like me."
Anna felt like she was listening to a dream, staring wide-eyed at Chu Nian, unsure of what to say for a long time.
When she left, her mind was a complete mess. One moment she was thinking about Chu Nian eating human food, and about Mount Alsino that Chu Nian mentioned; the next she was thinking about Chu Nian saying that he would use magic to switch her situation with Dracula's, and that Sophia had already agreed...
She still believes that the magic called Shapeshifting was performed by Sophia.
She dared not return to the royal court, but her estate was not yet repaired; and even if it were, she would be surrounded by Dracula's confidants, so she dared not go back. Dracula was now keeping a close watch on her.
With nowhere else to go, she thought of Mount Alsinho. However, to get there, she had to pass through the royal court, and near the court she saw many of the king's guards searching for her, which filled her with immense sorrow.
I never imagined that Dracula would treat her like this one day.
As she hid in a corner, worried that she would be captured by Dracula's guards, she heard Sophia's voice in her ear, giving her directions. She quickly followed the route Sophia indicated, and sure enough, the guards didn't notice her. She successfully bypassed the royal court and entered Mount Alsino.
She saw many bats, all staring at her warily, as if they would swarm and devour her if she did anything slightly wrong. She trembled with fear, but knew she had no way out and could only move forward, so she followed Sofia's instructions and entered a cave deep in the Alsinho Mountains.
She saw the murals and realized that the one who first embraced Dracula was a half-human, half-bat monster. Moreover, the way that monster bit anyone it encountered was very similar to the lowest level of vampires. Suddenly, she understood why Dracula had refused to open Mount Alchino.
If the vampires knew that Dracula was a child of a low-ranking vampire, where would they put their faces?
Just to save face, he refused to agree to the terms of the agreement, leaving her to live on in this old, weak, and ugly body—Anna felt even more disappointed by this.
Chu Nian had already thoroughly searched the place, leaving nothing but these murals. Anna wandered around for a bit, but finding nothing else of value, she left. She then found the saltwater lake Chu Nian had mentioned and tried a small sip.
