Chapter 490 College Entrance Examination

The college entrance examination had been going on for two days at this point. This was the last exam, and all the candidates were entering the examination room one after another.

Xie Qi and Yu Ze's examination rooms happened to be in the same school, but in different teaching buildings.

Two days ago, Yu Ze gave Xie Qi a life-saving lucky bag for self-defense. After entering the examination room, even if Yu Ze was not by his side, he could still protect Xie Qi.

But an accident happened in the last exam. When Xie Qi was searched entering the examination room, an invigilator found the lucky bag in Xie Qi's pocket.

"Classmate, you can't bring this thing in."

"This isn't made of metal. Can't I even take one to keep it safe?"

"Show it to me."

After hearing this, Xie Qi had no choice but to hand the lucky bag to the invigilator.

However, after the invigilator took the lucky bag, he opened it without saying a word and saw a note inside.

"What is this? You are not allowed to bring any paper into the exam room."

"It's just a yellow talisman. It says it's for safety, the kind you get from a temple. Are you not allowed to bring it with you? I brought it in before."

"I don't care what you did before, my exam room doesn't allow any paper. You can put this outside."

Seeing that the invigilator firmly disagreed, Xie Qi had no choice but to say, "Okay then."

In this way, the life-saving talisman that Yu Ze gave him was placed outside and separated from Xie Qi.

At this time, Yu Ze on the other side had already sat down in his seat in the examination room. As the bell rang, all the candidates lowered their heads and began to answer the questions.

However, as I was writing, it suddenly started to rain heavily outside, and the strong wind blew against the glass windows, making a loud noise.

Yu Ze looked at the scene on the windowsill and suddenly had a bad feeling, only an hour after the exam.

Yu Ze looked at the answer sheet, took a deep breath, and then raised his hand.

The invigilator saw this and walked over and asked, "What's wrong?"

Yu Ze expressionlessly placed the test paper and answer sheet neatly on the table according to the requirements of the college entrance examination, and then said calmly, "I'm going to hand in my paper."

Although his voice was not loud, it was like thunder in the originally quiet classroom, instantly attracting everyone's attention.

The invigilator was also startled by Yu Ze's words. He looked at Yu Ze's filled answer sheet and said to Yu Ze, "This is the college entrance examination. The rules prohibit submitting the paper early. You have to wait until the end of the exam time and then check it again."

However, Yu Ze did not follow the invigilator's advice. He frowned tightly. At this moment, a deafening thunder suddenly came from the sky, as if responding to his mood.

Yu Ze suddenly stood up and said, "Then I will give up the exam."

After saying that, he ignored the invigilator's attempts to stop him and rushed out of the classroom like a gust of wind.

Yu Ze's exam was in another teaching building, and there were security guards patrolling downstairs. As soon as he started running across the campus, he was spotted by the security guards. They immediately became alert and quickly stepped forward to stop him.

"Student, how can you run around during the exam? This is a violation of exam rules!" said the security guard seriously.

Yu Ze turned a deaf ear to the security guard's words and tried to force his way through the security guard's obstruction.

But the security guards didn't let him succeed. They grabbed Yu Ze and didn't give him any chance to escape. After all, on such an important occasion as the college entrance examination, students were absolutely not allowed to wander around the campus.

Even though Yu Ze had clearly stated that he wanted to give up the exam, according to the rules, he would be sent to a special lounge to wait for the exam to end.

However, Yu Ze took advantage of the security guard's inattention and ran directly up the stairs, and finally ran directly to the top floor of the teaching building opposite Xie Qi.

The security guards were terrified when they saw Yu Ze running upstairs. During the college entrance examination, there would be students who would have emotional breakdowns and jump off the building in the middle of the exam.

When Yu Ze reached the top floor, he found the door was locked. He raised his hand and the door opened. As soon as he opened the door, he heard the voice of the security guard.

Yu Ze did not stop. He pushed open the door and walked to the top floor, then put a lock on the door to prevent the security guard from coming up.

It was raining heavily outside. Yu Ze stood on the top floor in the rain, looking at the teaching building opposite where Xie Qi was.

The weather was even worse at this moment. The three members of the Xie family were sitting in the car, looking at the tightly closed school gate, helpless.

Yu Ze and the Xie family were unable to get close to Xie Qi due to the strict college entrance examination rules and patrols throughout the campus. And Tian Dao seemed to know that this was the best time.

At this moment, Xie Qi was sitting at the far left of the classroom, with a window next to his left. He frowned slightly as he stared at the stormy scene outside the window.

Suddenly, a strong wind blew and the branches outside the window were blown violently.

Just when Xie Qi had just finished answering a question, the strong wind seemed to go crazy, suddenly lifting up a thick branch and smashing it towards Xie Qi's window at an astonishing speed.

There was a loud "crash" sound, and the glass next to the window where Xie Qi was shattered instantly, and countless fragments fell like raindrops.

Xie Qi had no time to react. He instinctively covered his head with his hands. The sharp glass cut his arm, and blood immediately gushed out of the wound.

Xie Qi was shocked and quickly held the answer sheet away, fearing that the blood would stain the answer sheet.

At that moment, the invigilators sprang into action. One teacher maintained order in the exam room, ensuring that other students were not disturbed, while another teacher rushed to Xie Qi's side and inquired about his injuries with concern.

At the same time, another teacher hurried out to call the doctor who was on standby outside the venue.

A short while later, a doctor arrived at the classroom and performed a simple wound treatment and bandage on Xie Qi, while another teacher quickly found a piece of wood to block the broken window.
