As the first rays of sunlight pierced through the crack in the window, Qianchen slowly awoke.
"Didn't sleep all night?" Qian Chen's voice was deep and had a special magnetism, mainly because he wasn't fully awake.
Leng Yue smiled. "Yes, I couldn't sleep yesterday, so I got up and meditated." As she spoke, Leng Yue got out of bed and opened the window.
"Did you sleep well?" Leng Yue stretched lazily by the bed and turned to ask Qian Chen.
Sunlight shone on Leng Yue, but with her back to the sun, Qian Chen couldn't see her face clearly. Qian Chen waved to Leng Yue, and she walked to the bedside in a few steps.
"What's wrong?" Leng Yue sat on the edge of the bed, looking at Qian Chen. "Are you feeling unwell?"
Qianchen grabbed Lengyue's hand and shook her head. "No, it's just that I saw what looked like wings growing from your back, and it made me a little uneasy. What would I do if you flew away?"
Leng Yue chuckled, cupping Qian Chen's face in her hands and speaking with a doting tone, "What nonsense are you talking about? I say I'm a fairy every day, but I don't want wings! Besides, I can't grow wings anyway, okay?"
Qianchen then pulled Lengyue into his arms. "Yes, yes, I'm just afraid my fairy will grow wings and fly away!"
"Hahaha, my husband is so adorably silly!" Leng Yue nestled in Qian Chen's arms, laughing uncontrollably. "Even if I were to fly, I'd just be a big kite. The string is still in your hand, isn't it? Where can I fly? You can pull me back no matter where I end up!"
As the two were fooling around, the door opened. Leng Yue tried to get up, but Qian Chen held on tightly, calling out, "Come in."
"Am I disturbing you?" Liu Fang pushed open the door and entered, only to see the two of them glued together. "Should I close the door and you two continue?"
Leng Yue smiled sheepishly, "No need, no need, Liu Fang, what's the matter?"
"There's a celebration in Tianxuan City next door today, so I came to ask if you'd like to go and take a look?" Liu Fang was already dressed up, so it seemed like she was definitely going.
Leng Yue and Qian Chen exchanged a glance and communicated. Finally, they nodded. "Okay, can you wait for us a moment? We'll be done in a bit."
Liu Fang nodded. "Then I'll wait for you downstairs." After saying that, Liu Fang closed the door and went downstairs.
"Are we really going?" Leng Yue whispered to Qian Chen. "It could very well be a trap!"
“If we don’t go along with them this time, and they become suspicious, things might get even more difficult to deal with later.” Qian Chen finished speaking quickly and started getting dressed.
The two packed up quickly, in about ten minutes, and went downstairs together.
“You two are really quick,” Liu Fang said, looking at the two of them, her gaze finally settling on Leng Yue. “Being naturally beautiful makes all the difference; you don’t even need to dress up.”
"What do you mean by natural beauty? Someone still wants her..." Leng Yue smiled foolishly, her eyes full of sweetness as she looked at Qian Chen.
Qianchen pinched Lengyue's nose, showing unusual affection, "Yes, yes, my little fairy will always be the most beautiful."
"Hey, you guys are really something. Can't you at least show some consideration for this single dog?" Liu Fang said, then picked up the witch's hat and put it on. "Let's go. By the time we get there, the festival will probably have already started."
As Liu Fang spoke, she picked up a broom and went out. Seeing this, Leng Yue and Qian Chen also took out their flying swords and followed behind her.
"What mission are you on this time? Do you need our help?" Leng Yue looked at Liu Fang with a smile, riding her flying sword very close to her.

"I can't, my personality isn't suited for it." Leng Yue waved her hand. She wasn't a mission participant anymore, so she wasn't going to do anything that would be embarrassing! Not only would it be tiring, but more importantly, she couldn't do it.
"You're pampered and don't have to do things you don't want to do. It's different for us. Even if we don't like it, the plot requires us to date people and have sex with them..."
Leng Yue was taken aback; she hadn't expected Liu Fang to be so blunt. After thinking for a moment, she said, "You can retire when you reach a certain level, then things will be fine."

"Management personnel?" Liu Fang gave another sarcastic smile. "It's just empty promises from headquarters. Take it with a grain of salt and don't take it seriously."
From those few words, Leng Yue sensed that Liu Fang harbored deep resentment towards headquarters. However, this still didn't prove anything.
"How much do you know about headquarters?" Qian Chen asked when the two fell silent.
“I don’t know much, but I know more than most people. At least… at least I witnessed firsthand the headquarters’ annihilation of Silver Warehouse.” As Liu Fang said this, she didn’t look at them, but turned her head to the side and raised her hand as if wiping away tears.
"Since that's the case, and you know things others don't, doesn't headquarters intend to punish you at all?" Qian Chen spoke again. Although it was a cruel question, as a partner, one should maintain a proper attitude. Otherwise, the other party would simply assume he knew something.

"Qian Chen?" Leng Yue was puzzled and wanted to ask, but Qian Chen gently shook his head. She avoided Liu Fang's gaze and no longer stopped Qian Chen.
Leng Yue still felt a little embarrassed to face Liu Fang directly. But Qian Chen was her other half, so no matter how embarrassed she felt, she would support him unconditionally.

"Why do you want to cooperate with us? Now that you've witnessed everything, shouldn't you be afraid?" Qianchen gave Liufang no chance to evade the question. "Answer immediately!"
"Maybe I just want to give it a try. I want to see if I can create a miracle." After saying that, Liu Fang turned to look at Qian Chen. "Is that enough?"
Qianchen stared at Liufang for a while before nodding, "Thank you for your cooperation."
