Chapter 18: Three Divisions

Early the next morning, there was a knock on the villa's door.

The few of them had just gotten up and were discussing their next plan on the second floor. Hearing the noise, Zhu Yuanqing stopped what others were doing and went downstairs himself.

As soon as the door opened, Yi An had just put on a smile when he was scolded.

"How can you be so polite as to disturb others so early in the morning?"

Yi An's smile froze on his face.

At this moment, Zhu Yuanqing rubbed his eyes, as if he had just seen the person in front of him clearly, and exclaimed: "Yi An? Why is it you?"

Nonsense, did you close your eyes when you got up just now? You can't even see clearly at such a big age!

"Haha." Yi An cursed in his heart, but smiled on his face, not caring at all.

"It's okay, it's okay, I didn't pay attention to the time." He looked into the villa and said, "Isn't Mr. Hang up yet?"

Zhu Yuanqing blocked the door and asked cautiously, "What are you going to do?"

Yi An smiled friendly and said, "You guys are new here and you're not familiar with this place yet, so I wanted to show you around."

"And I have some good stuff here that Mr. Jiang will definitely be interested in." He spoke with a certain mystery, "It's about research on mental power."

Zhu Yuanqing's eyes lit up, and he became interested for once: "Really?"

Yi An had been observing his expression. Seeing that he was interested, he thought he was halfway to success and decided to keep trying.

"real."

He also has a group of researchers under his command and knows how dedicated these people are to the fields they are interested in. People like Zhu Yuanqing are very easy to understand and can be hooked with just a few words.

But after Zhu Yuanqing's excitement, he quickly cooled down: "Forget it, they definitely won't agree."

"I'm asking you, Mr. Jiang, not them. They can't make the decision for you." Yi An instigated.

Zhu Yuanqing thought for a moment and clapped his hands: "Exactly, it's almost the same if they listen to me."

"No, it's not safe to go alone. I have to find someone else." Zhu Yuanqing muttered softly, went upstairs and pulled Hang Zixuan down.

"Hurry up, hurry up." Zhu Yuanqing urged, "Before Kong Wenhan and the others find out, I'll go with you to check it out. If they wake up, I won't be able to leave!"

"Okay, follow me." Seeing that both of them were together, Yi An smiled.

The villas here are separated by a distance, and they look very similar in appearance. Yi An led them through twists and turns, and if Zhu Yuanqing didn't have his spiritual power in hand, he wouldn't be able to remember the way he came.

"How far is it?" Zhu Yuanqing asked for the second time.

"It's almost there." Yi An tried to comfort them and took them further east.

Hang Zixuan wiped the sweat from his forehead and looked at Zhu Yuanqing with some concern.

Zhu Yuanqing shook his head, grabbed his sleeve, and mouthed "Don't worry."

Hang Zixuan's eyes flashed and he clenched the suitcase in his hand.

While walking, Zhu Yuanqing tried to release his mental power. It was fine in the front, but the closer he got to the east, the easier it was for the released mental power to dissipate.

However, there was plenty of time on the road, and after several experiments, he finally found out the reason.

It's not that his mental power is ineffective, but that this place is surrounded by a huge mental force field, and the mental power he uses is not strong enough, so it gets messy when he touches it.

After thinking about it, Zhu Yuanqing compressed his mental power into a thin line, gathered it into a stream, and probed out again.

Like fish joining a school of fish, this time, he could clearly see the dense filaments of mental power around him.

It was very different from what Hang Zixuan had expected from the research materials in his hands.

Zhu Yuanqing glanced at Yi An's back, leaned close to Hang Zixuan's ear, and whispered, "Here are Mr. Zhao's research results."

Hang Zixuan paused, held his arm, and stared at him, as if wondering if he had heard it wrong.

In his shaky sight, Zhu Yuanqing nodded.

The hand that was holding his arm loosened, and Zhu Yuanqing saw Hang Zixuan smile with a look of relief.

Soon, Yi An led them into the garden of a large villa.

Outside the tall iron gate stood two men, one with a dark mole on his face: "Brother Yi!"

Zhu Yuanqing's eyes turned cold instantly.

He remembered the voice.

"Mole." Yi An said, "These two are new guests."

Mole's eyes swept between the two of them and he whistled: "Hey, the pretty boy is pretty good looking."

Zhu Yuanqing raised the corner of his mouth: "Thank you for the compliment, you and the zombies are almost as good-looking."

Mole was stunned for a moment, then he was furious. He raised his arm and raised his fist: "Say that again, damn it?"

"Mole!" Yi An stepped forward and looked at him warningly, "This is a guest."

Mole spat and had to put down his fist.

When he entered the door, Zhu Yuanqing's mental power moved slightly, and a thin thread of mental power drilled into his brain.

Mole didn't notice anything at all. He kicked Zhu Yuanqing's back in the air and stood back in his original position.

However, he rubbed his temples and felt a little dizzy.

The further they went in, the more people standing guard there were. Most of them were wearing flashy clothes and looked at them with ill intentions.

"We're here." Yi An pushed open the door and looked at the two of them with a smile.

Zhu Yuanqing and Hang Zixuan looked at each other and walked in one after the other.

The first floor of the villa was completely opened up. In the huge space stood one half-human-high column after another, connected by silver-white wire tubes.

Next to the column, researchers in white coats were holding pens and notebooks, writing something from time to time. When they heard the sound of the door opening, they all looked up.

Hang Zixuan immediately held his breath and scanned one face after another. There were some familiar faces and some he had no impression of, but the person he wanted to see the most was not among them.
