Chen Mu almost flashed.
Zhu Yuanqing had just blinked when the man pounced on him, and the two of them fell straight onto the mattress.
The small lamp placed next to it cast a dim halo of light on the wall. Zhu Yuanqing glanced at the ceiling and felt a small wet spot on his shoulder.
After rubbing the furry head and untying the small braid that Chen Mu had tied, Zhu Yuanqing gently patted his back, silently comforting him.
I don't know how long I've been worried and scared...
"Go to sleep."
A soft voice sounded.
The breathing on his shoulder soon calmed down. Zhu Yuanqing yawned slightly and felt a little sleepy.
The previous fainting did not count as a rest, so Zhu Yuanqing naturally closed his eyes.
He fell asleep, but he didn't see the man lying on him slowly get up.
His dark eyes were fixed on the collar that was torn open by his own action - it was white and flawless.
The slightly cool fingertips gently stroked the skin, and there was a warm touch under the fingertips.
A strange light flashed in the dark pupils. Chen Mu leaned over and took a soft and warm entrance.
The veins on his hands were bulging. He resisted the urge to bite it and just licked it with the tip of his tongue.
After a while, he couldn't help it anymore, so he rubbed his fangs on it and then used force.
Perhaps because he was too tired, Zhu Yuanqing did not react at all. He did not even notice that the person he felt sorry for just now had completely changed his appearance after he closed his eyes, nor did he notice those unbearable eyes.
007 was still staying in the small dark room and had no choice but to let Shen Mu vent his anger.
Fortunately, it didn't know, otherwise it would have started scolding by now.
After a final light bite, Chen Mu looked up, feeling extremely satisfied at the circle of his own exclusive mark, and reluctantly pulled up his collar.
He got off Zhu Yuanqing, turned to the side, and Chen Mu gently held him in his arms and covered him with a blanket.
Hugging the person, he finally closed his eyes.
Zhu Yuanqing slept extremely contentedly. After resting on the mattress for a while, he touched the seat next to him and found that there was no one there.
There was still some residual heat beside him, so Zhu Yuanqing stood up and got out of bed.
It was pitch black all around. Zhu Yuanqing found a small lamp on the ground under the dim light of the interferometer. He pressed the switch twice. The light flickered weakly and then went out.
It seems that I slept for a long time.
But where did Chen Mu go?
Zhu Yuanqing thought about it and let go of his mental perception.
A large area around came into view, and it was clear where the zombies and people were. The range was almost doubled compared to the previous one.
Speaking of which, I have to thank Chen Mu. If it weren't for his unconditional feeding of crystal cores, I wouldn't have been directly promoted to S-level now.
Although he was mentally prepared, Zhu Yuanqing couldn't help but be surprised when he saw the scene in front of him.
Originally, the villa was surrounded by tightly packed white dots, so dense that they almost formed a sea of light. But now, there are only a few scattered dots of light nearby, which is very desolate in comparison.
How many people were killed...
Without the control of the mental zombies, the zombies had completely ignored this place. Zhu Yuanqing turned on the light and walked towards the light spot belonging to Chen Mu in his mind.
This walk took him to the kitchen.
The light was on in the kitchen. Chen Mu moved a small stool and sat on it. He was holding something in his hand and staring intently at the thing in front of him.
What is this doing?
Zhu Yuanqing walked forward lightly and saw a pot bubbling with a bag of extremely precious noodles next to it.
Cooking? Twilight?
Zhu Yuanqing's expression was as horrified as if he saw two zombies sitting and playing Gobang.
"Are you, cooking?" Zhu Yuanqing walked to Chen Mu and asked tentatively.
Seeing him approaching, Chen Mu hurriedly put down the spatula, stood up, and pulled Zhu Yuanqing away a little.
"There's a lot of smoke here, stay away so it doesn't get on you."
A simple stove was built on the ground with the wreckage of the exploded villa. Inside the stove were some branches and leaves. An orange-yellow flame was burning inside, and thick white smoke was coming out.
An iron pot was placed on top, and half of the water inside was boiling.
"The water is boiling." Zhu Yuanqing dodged Chen Mu's hand that was trying to push him away, and tilted his head to look at the bubbling water.
"Yeah." Chen Mu agreed while looking around. He moved the small stool he was sitting on to the kitchen door and helped Zhu Yuanqing sit down.
This place was already far away from the smoke. Chen Mu looked at the distance between Zhu Yuanqing and the simple stove with satisfaction. His eyes unconsciously fell on the bottom of Zhu Yuanqing's collar and instructed: "Just sit here, or go out and play, I will be done soon."
Go out and play? Zhu Yuanqing watched Chen Mu turn around and looked towards the direction of the hall. Go out and play with the zombies?
Why is Chen Mu so weird today?
However, Zhu Yuanqing quickly put aside the messy thoughts in his mind and leaned over to observe Chen Mu's movements.
He didn't seem to be very experienced. He took a while to consider the seasoning for the noodles before putting them into the pot, and at the end he threw something in.
But he blocked it on purpose so Zhu Yuanqing didn't see it.
Chen Mu took out all the seasonings and other ingredients from the space, including the noodles and the water used to cook them. These were extremely scarce daily necessities in the apocalypse, and they could not be purchased even with crystal cores.
After looking at it for a long time, Zhu Yuanqing suddenly thought of something and frowned: "You only made one?"
"Hmm?" Chen Mu was pouring the soup into the bowl and was stunned when he heard this. "Yes."
Zhu Yuanqing held his forehead and asked, "What are you going to do?"
Chen Mu suddenly realized: "Forgot!"
Zhu Yuanqing looked at him expressionlessly, then turned his head and laughed out loud.
There was a dining room next to the kitchen. Chen Mu placed the bowl on the table and turned on the light.
He sat opposite Zhu Yuanqing, watching him sit down with burning eyes, and said with great anticipation: "Want to try it?"
He seldom cooks, except for once or twice when he was a mercenary. In the apocalypse, he has been relying on compressed biscuits and instant food. After a few years, he has almost forgotten how to hold a spatula. He doesn't know if it will suit Zhu Yuanqing's taste.
The light above his head shone, and the person opposite him was full of anticipation. Zhu Yuanqing held the chopsticks, his eyes were dazed for a moment, and then he took a bite.
Zhu Yuanqing paused, swallowed the noodles in his mouth, and heard Chen Mu ask carefully: "How is it, is everything okay?"
"Very good." Zhu Yuanqing raised his head, his eyelashes trembling slightly, and the corners of his eyes softened.
"That's good." Chen Mu's tense shoulders relaxed as he watched Zhu Yuanqing dig out a poached egg from the bottom of the bowl.
He smiled: "Surprise."
