Adrian raised his head, his pair of vertical pupils like those of an animal, and met Zhu Yuanqing's gaze.
Zhu Yuanqing moved his feet, and the iron chains that bound him made a clanging sound.
The sound obviously pleased Adrian.
"My Lord," he said, "none of the things you worry about will happen."
"I promise that after we leave, we will stay together happily. It's okay if you don't want to see Blackfish. I will part ways with him as soon as we leave the capital planet. I will then find a planet with a better environment."
"We will be together forever."
His mood was obviously not right. The mission had been completed. Zhu Yuanqing had no intention of angering him again, so he just kept an eye on him.
