"It's getting late. We have to get up early to go to the station tomorrow. Go get some rest."
After Jiang Jingyu returned to her bedroom, her parents checked her luggage again. They were so worried that she might forget to take something.
The next morning, the family followed Fang Siyan and Tang Wanhua to the station and watched the two children get on the high-speed train before leaving.
It takes five hours to get from home to Huaqing University. Jiang Jingyu and Fang Siyan held hands and sat by the window. They turned their heads and chatted while watching the scenery passing by outside the window.
Jiang Jingyu didn't sleep well last night. Her eyelids started to droop in the second half of the journey. She leaned on Fang Siyan's shoulder and took a nap. When she woke up, she had already arrived at her destination.
The two took a taxi to school. After getting off the car, Jiang Jingyu stood at the school gate carrying her computer bag, while Fang Siyan went to the trunk to get other luggage.
The entrance was filled with seniors welcoming the new students. When one of the boys saw Jiang Jingyu standing at the school gate, a glint of surprise flashed in his eyes and he ran to Jiang Jingyu attentively.
"You're a freshman, right? Which department are you in?"
Jiang Jingyu nodded: "Computer Science Department."
"What a coincidence! I'm also in the Computer Science Department. My name is Lin Tianqi, and I'm a junior. If you need any help in the future, just come to me!"
"Thank you, Senior."
Facing Lin Tianqi's enthusiastic attitude, Jiang Jingyu smiled politely.
"Let me help my schoolmate carry her things!"
Lin Tianqi said this as he was about to take the computer bag from Jiang Jingyu's hand.
Jiang Jingyu quickly waved her hands: "No, no, this won't sink, I can do it myself."
"Don't be polite to me, schoolmate. Let me help you get it."
He was about to bend down to take the computer bag from Jiang Jingyu's hand, but someone was one step faster than him.
