"Found her? She's..."
Beep beep beep.
The person on the other end of the phone hung up before Ji Yanli could finish his words.
The assistant sitting in the driver's seat observed Ji Yanli's expression through the rearview mirror, then took two umbrellas, pushed the door and got out of the car.
The assistant came to the back door holding an umbrella, and the next moment, Ji Yanli stepped out of the car with his long legs.
"Boss Ji, do you want to come over?"
"Wait here."
Ji Yanli took the umbrella from his assistant and strode towards where Jiang Jingyu was.
There was a faint smell of alcohol in the air, and Ji Yanli heard the girl sobbing as soon as he approached.
He pursed his lips and walked behind Jiang Jingyu, tilting the umbrella above his head towards her, and his tall body shielded her from the wind and rain.
"Come home with me."
After hearing the sound, Jiang Jingyu, whose face was buried between her legs, raised her head in a daze. Her face was flushed due to drinking, and there were still traces of tears in the corners of her eyes.
Jiang Jingyu stared at Ji Yanli for a long time before tentatively asking, "Mr. Ji?"
She called out, then lowered her head and whispered softly, "I have no home anymore."
Jiang Jingyu hugged her legs and murmured to herself: "I am not the daughter of the Jiang family. Mommy is gone, and I have no home."
Ji Yanli frowned when he heard that. He leaned over to Jiang Jingyu and gently touched the back of her head which was wet from the rain.
"Be good and come home with me."
Jiang Jingyu shook her head, her voice filled with tears: "Mr. Ji, please go first. I want to stay with my mother for a while."
Seeing that persuasion was futile, Ji Yanli threw the umbrella aside and picked up Jiang Jingyu by the waist.
Both of them were exposed to the rain, the cold rain hitting Ji Yanli's windbreaker, and even his neat hair was knocked down by two strands due to the rain.
Seeing this, the assistant who was waiting in front of the car rushed over with an umbrella and held it over their heads.
"Boss Ji, let me do it!"
Assistant Jiang Chuan knew that Ji Yanli was a mysophobe, and he spoke hurriedly after seeing Jiang Jingyu, who was wet in his arms.
"Call Chen Ze."

Ji Yanli held Jiang Jingyu in his arms and sat in the back seat of the Maybach, while Jiang Chuan drove towards a villa somewhere in Beijing.

The hot little face burned Ji Yanli's chest through the clothes. He raised his hand and touched Jiang Jingyu's forehead.
It's so hot.
Ji Yanli took his spare suit and put it on Jiang Jingyu, saying in a deep voice, "Drive faster."
"yes!"
Jiang Chuan responded and increased the speed of the car.
Jiang Jingyu, who had a high fever, was in a daze. She fell into Ji Yanli's arms, her brows furrowed, and she had a long dream.
"Don't go, Mommy, don't leave me!"
Jiang Jingyu began to cry softly in the nightmare. She kept struggling and waving her hands to grab something.
"Don't be afraid, I'm here."
A low-pitched voice sounded in the car.
Then Ji Yanli stretched out his hand to Jiang Jingyu's waving hand. The moment their hands touched, Jiang Jingyu grasped his fingers tightly in her palm as if she was grabbing the last straw.
The sobbing gradually stopped, and Jiang Jingyu drowsily snuggled into Ji Yanli's arms, holding his fingers and fell asleep.
Jiang Chuan's driving skills were very steady. Even though he was speeding all the way, he did not cause any bumps at all. He soon arrived at a villa somewhere in Beijing.
Ji Mohan, who had been waiting in the living room for a long time, stood up hurriedly after hearing the noise, with a slightly awkward look in his eyes.
The person he fears most in the entire Beijing city is his adoptive father.
Since he was taken to live with his adoptive father at the age of fifteen, his adoptive father has always been the one guiding him in company management.

Liu Ma and Ji Yanli went upstairs together.

Chen Ze quickened his pace and pushed open the door to the living room.

Ji Mohan came back to his senses and greeted Chen Ze: "Chen, Uncle Chen."
