Rong Xu wasn't unable to break free from the not-so-sturdy ropes, but the way these people were doing things really left him bewildered.
The group said, "Don't blame us. Since you say the monster has been dealt with, then you'll come with us. After we throw you in, we'll see if anything happens to you, and then we'll know the answer."
Rong Xu was dumbfounded: "You, you—"
He was so angry that he couldn't speak for a moment. Even if the monster hadn't been dealt with, he wasn't afraid to go to that place.
But looking at these people and hearing them say they were going to throw him there, Rong Xu still couldn't quite believe it.
When he lived on the mountain peak with Rong Qing and the Sword-wielding Elder, their lives were simple and peaceful. When he appeared before his fellow disciples, they greeted him with smiles. He never expected that these complete strangers would resort to such methods to deal with him. Why?

When Lu Qingsi and Lu Ming came downstairs, they immediately saw Rong Xu being harassed by these people.
"Stop! What do you want to do?" Lu Qingsi immediately stood in front of Rong Xu.
"Young lady, mind your own business. Since he said it, he has to vouch for us." The man said matter-of-factly.
"Why are you tying him up?" Lu Qingsi quickly untied Lu Ming's ropes, but the men held a kitchen knife to her throat.
"Little girl, can't you understand human language? I told you not to get involved in this. What are you doing here acting like a hero at such a young age?" The man was quite strong and pushed Lu Qingsi, causing her to stumble.
"You're so ugly, are you deaf? I told you to get away from here, so get lost!" the man said aggressively.
Lu Qingsi remained unmoved: "I heard everything you just said. Since you're so eager to know, I'll agree to go with him to take a look. But I don't need you to tie me up; I can go in by myself."
"Great, that's awesome!" The group burst into laughter.
"Qingsi." Lu Ming called out to Lu Qingsi, but did not stop her.
Lu Qingsai led Rong Xu toward the snake demon's lair, followed by a large group of people, including Lu Ming.
"What's your name?" Lu Qingsi didn't know why, but she felt that he was different from her at first glance.
"Rong Xu".
“Rong Xu?” Lu Qingsi shook her head. She had never heard of this name before, so why did it sound familiar? She then introduced herself, “My name is Lu Qingsi.”
"Hmm," Rong Xu said, "It looks quite like the birthmark on your face."
“However,” Rong Xu reached out and touched Lu Qingsi’s face, “why does this birthmark move?”
Lu Qingsi: ⊙▽⊙!
She had once seen the birthmark move, but she thought it was just her imagination. Now Rong Xu felt the same way, so it didn't seem like an illusion.
Why is that? Lu Qingsi couldn't understand.
"Why?" Rong Xu asked.
"Why what?" Lu Qingsi blinked, puzzled.
"Why are you blocking my way and agreeing to these people's unreasonable demands?" Rong Xu looked up at Lu Qingsi.
