Another slap landed on his face. Butler Su threatened in a disheveled manner, "You better watch your mouth. You need to know what you should and shouldn't say. If I find out you've said anything you shouldn't have behind my back, I'll break your legs."
"You heartless bastard, you're still trying to threaten me now. Master and Madam have treated our family well, I absolutely cannot watch them die unjustly!" As she spoke, Aunt Su suddenly found strength and started beating up Steward Su.
In the midst of the chaos, Lu Qingyan saw Steward Su take an inkstone from the side and almost smash it on Aunt Su, so she quickly appeared and stopped him.
Lu Qingyan didn't let Aunt Su see her appearance, and simply put her to sleep. She didn't intend to involve innocent people in this matter, and coldly stared at Steward Su.

"For no reason other than that, I just want their money." Butler Su confessed honestly. Ever since he saw Lu Qingyan suddenly appear in front of him and put Aunt Su to sleep with one move, he had been somewhat wary of her identity.
Although he lived in the mortal world, Steward Su had heard many people talk about the legends of cultivating immortality, and the person in front of him was very likely a cultivator.

As a servant, without his master's approval, he couldn't possibly take over everything himself and then go to the authorities to make a request.
Therefore, after all this commotion, Steward Su only received a maximum of five hundred taels of silver, far less than he had initially estimated.
"Do you regret it?" Lu Qingyan asked.
"What do I have to regret?" Butler Su stubbornly refused to admit it.
