Ms. Wang asked, "Didn't you say you came here to find your fiancé? How come you're with Commander Rong?"
Ms. Wang's voice was quite loud, and as soon as she spoke, many people looked at Lu Qingyan.

Lieutenant He was so angry he wanted to bang his head against the wall. He kept trying to wink at her, but Ms. Wang acted as if she didn't see anything.

"My fiancé? He has a new fiancée now, so we've broken up," Lu Qingyan said casually, as if it were just a trivial matter.

Lieutenant He didn't have the guts to go against Rong Qing, especially now that Ye Li was by his side.

After Lieutenant He took Ms. Wang away, Lu Qingyan thought of the medicine again.
Given Rong Qing's current situation, obtaining medicine is quite difficult. However, she can still prepare some simple medicines even with the current lack of equipment.
Lu Qingyan gave the order to have the housekeeper prepare a spare room and some materials for her.
After directing the servants throughout the day, the house was finally ready. She went inside, completed some simple tasks, and then, feeling quite tired, went to her room for a nap.
When Lu Qingyan woke up, Rong Qing had just returned. The sky outside was intermittently bright and dark, but it was clear that dawn was approaching.
Rong Qing was wearing a well-fitting military uniform, his lips tightly pursed. When he saw Lu Qingyan, the corners of his mouth turned up slightly.
"Sorry, I woke you up."
Rong Qing took off his clothes and hung them on a clothes rack.
Lu Qingyan shook her head: "You didn't wake me up, I woke up on my own. You came back too late today, are you still hungry?"
"Is there any food left?" Rong Qing asked.
"Of course not, I'll make you something right now." Lu Qingyan said, going to the kitchen to wash her hands. Soon after, she could hear clanging and banging sounds coming from inside, along with the whooshing sound of the bellows.
The kitchen was quite far from here, but Rong Qing had exceptional hearing and was still able to hear everything clearly.
A moment later, Lu Qingyan brought over a bowl of noodles: "Eat some of this first to tide you over, then go get a good night's sleep."
Lu Qingyan noticed the dark circles under his eyes were very pronounced; he must have been very busy these past few days. As she approached him, Lu Qingyan smelled a faint scent of blood.
