Chapter 1244 On the Possibility of Sisterly Harmony 31.16

Qiu Chen was actually quite happy that his girlfriend was jealous of him.

After all, they had a good relationship at the beginning, but recently Lu Qingyan has been neglecting him.

(Lu Qingyan: I'm not your girlfriend Jiang Ranran, why am I clinging to you?)

After Lu Qingyan finished speaking, she went back to her room. Although Jiang Qiqi found Lu Qingyan's words strange, she really didn't want Qiu Chen to leave so early, so she didn't think much of what she said. She pretended that she really didn't know anything and continued to pester Qiu Chen with a bunch of random questions as before.

When Qiu Chen got impatient, she would look at him with her big, pitiful eyes, which made him lose his temper.

The two lingered together for a while before finally separating.

After Lu Qingyan went upstairs, she searched through Jiang Ranran's wardrobe and found that there were only a few clothes left, all of which were old styles from seven or eight years ago.

"Heh," Lu Qingyan sneered. She remembered clearly that she and Jiang Ranran had prepared a lot of clothes and had someone send them a new style every quarter. How could they not have a single piece of clothing that fit them?

Needless to say, Jiang Qiqi must have taken all those clothes.

Jiang Qiqi is younger than Jiang Ranran, but she grows up quickly. Since the third grade of elementary school, the two sisters have been wearing the same size clothes, and Jiang Qiqi has started to take clothes from Jiang Ranran.

Lu Qingyan didn't like wasting time shopping now; she was at her laziest when she was angry and didn't want to move at all.

Fortunately, there were many things hidden in the space, including quite a few clothes. Lu Qingyan specially picked out a unique one and tried it on, finding it to fit her fairly well.

Lu Qingyan happily decided to wear this outfit tomorrow.

However, Lu Qingyan quickly thought of something else. The original owner, Jiang Ranran, was a very easy-going girl who never spent money extravagantly. But Jiang Qiqi was spoiled and was burning money. Sometimes she would even take out Jiang Ranran's card to spend money.

If I don't buy anything, wouldn't all this money just go to Jiang Qiqi? I can't stand the thought.

So the next day, Lu Qingyan went out early in the morning. She first went to the nearest department store and browsed through the major luxury brand stores, which was quite fruitful.

After swiping her card and leaving her home address, she waited for the store to pack her items and deliver them to her home. By the time she had finished shopping, it was already noon.

Lu Qingyan found a milk tea shop, ordered a cup of milk tea, and sat down to rest. She took out her phone and called Qiu Chen, speaking softly for a few words before hanging up, satisfied.

Half an hour later, Lu Qingyan was about to leave the milk tea shop when she saw a tall woman in a bright red dress standing at the door. Her black hair had a hint of light brown, her eyes were dark, she had a high nose and fair skin, and her face was tense with no smile, exuding an aloof and distant air.

She stood there as if waiting for someone, but when she saw Lu Qingyan, she narrowed her eyes and walked towards Lu Qingyan.

Lu Qingyan's eyes lit up; it turned out that there were familiar faces here.

"Meng Rou," Lu Qingyan greeted her. She still remembered this classmate from high school.

Meng Rou raised her chin to look at Lu Qingyan and said sarcastically without any politeness, "Oh, you're back in China. I thought your family was planning to abandon you abroad and not care about you anymore."
