Song Meimei and Zhao Meng are Jiang Qiqi's good friends. They have both met Lu Qingyan and are deeply impressed by this older sister who dotes on Jiang Qiqi.
Upon hearing Lu Qingyan's words, Song Meimei and Zhao Meng were both stunned. Jiang Qiqi's face turned ashen; she looked absolutely terrible.
"What! Him? Isn't he Qiqi's boyfriend?" Song Meimei was interrupted by Zhao Meng before she could finish speaking. "Meimei, let's go get something to eat over there. I'm so hungry. Ranran, you two chat first. Excuse me for a moment."
"But..." After being dragged away, Song Meimei suddenly realized what was happening. She wasn't stupid, just a little slow to react. After exchanging a few more words with Zhao Meng, her impression of Jiang Qiqi completely changed. She hadn't thought much of it when she was close to Jiang Qiqi, but now, looking back, she realized this person wasn't worth their time. A little temper tantrums were understandable, but to steal her own sister's boyfriend—what if one day they got boyfriends and they came to her saying they liked Jiang Qiqi?
"Forget it, I should stay away from her from now on. Let's just consider it a mistake in my judgment before."
Jiang Qiqi's eyes reddened, and she glared at Jiang Ranran with a very aggrieved expression, "Sister, why are you like this?"
"What's wrong with me? Did I say something wrong, or do something wrong?" Lu Qingyan smiled.
"Brother Chen, my friend must have misunderstood!" Jiang Qiqi's eyes welled up with tears.
Lu Qingyan patted Jiang Qiqi's head comfortingly, but she patted it a little too hard, causing Jiang Qiqi to wince in pain.
Lu Qingyan comforted her, "Don't be sad. Don't you like being with Qiu Chen? Then I'll let you have him so he can keep you company."
Jiang Qiqi was stunned for a moment, and even forgot to cry.
After a moment of stunned silence, she looked at Lu Qingyan sadly and said, "Sister, you broke your promise. You clearly said you would have him accompany me today, but you came back and changed your mind. Are you lying to me again?"
"When did I ever lie to you before?" Lu Qingyan looked at Jiang Qiqi and argued, "You said you wanted him to come and be your date, and I already agreed, didn't I? So today he came with you instead of me. But I only asked him to be your date, I never said I would give him to you to be your boyfriend. You saw that others misunderstood but didn't say anything, so I had to go up and explain."
Lu Qingyan sighed softly, "Qiqi, I did this so that you wouldn't be misunderstood."
"But now it seems you really like this misunderstanding. You are my dearest sister, so of course I have to grant your wish." Lu Qingyan stepped forward and tucked a strand of hair behind Jiang Qiqi's ear, a gentle smile on her face that made Jiang Qiqi feel a little creeped out.
Lu Qingyan pushed Jiang Qiqi away, "My feet are getting tired from wearing these high heels. I'll go sit over there. You two can do as you please."
Lu Qingyan had only taken one step when Qiu Chen called out in surprise, "Ranran!"
As Lu Qingyan was about to leave, Qiu Chen was about to chase after her when Jiang Qiqi grabbed his clothes.
He turned around and saw Jiang Qiqi's pitiful appearance with tears streaming down her face: "Brother Chen, don't go."
Qiu Chen was annoyed by her behavior. He couldn't understand what Lu Qingyan meant. Why had she become so generous and even offered to let him accompany Jiang Qiqi? She used to be a little unhappy about it. Was it because she had figured things out now?
