Lu Qingyan raised an eyebrow: "Oh, it seems their family does a pretty good job of keeping things a secret. I, for one, didn't even know about this."
Li Yan smiled without saying a word.
"What does Fan Jing mean? What is he thinking?" Lu Qingyan looked at Fan Jing's affection for Su Qin and it didn't seem like he meant anything by it.
Li Yan scoffed, "Who knows? There are all sorts of birds in a big forest." It's hard to say what Fan Jing might be thinking about Su Qin, whom he raised.
"An Jin is here. Go change your clothes, it's your turn for the next scene." Director Du's eyes lit up when he caught sight of Lu Qingyan.
Lu Qingyan smiled and said, "I sat there waiting for a long time and you didn't come over. I thought you had forgotten about me."
"No, no, even if I forget anyone else, I can never forget Your Majesty."
Su Qin's face paled when she saw Lu Qingyan. She really hadn't expected this woman to be able to come over; she had almost fainted in the dressing room, yet she was perfectly fine now.
"Qinqin, what's wrong?" Fan Jing asked with concern when he saw her lost in thought.
"It's nothing, I just saw Actress Ruan. I didn't expect her to be in the same film crew as my uncle. He didn't even tell me," Su Qin complained, sounding just like a fangirl who missed out on her idol.
"When did you start liking Ruan Yunmeng?" Fan Jing looked at Su Qin with a puzzled expression. He remembered that this girl didn't seem to like actresses much.
Su Qin rolled her eyes at him and proudly raised her chin: "I only noticed her because my uncle kept mentioning that he hoped to work with her. Otherwise, I wouldn't have had the time to pay attention to her."
Fan Jing's eyes were filled with laughter.
Lu Qingyan quickly changed her clothes. The next scene was about An Jin escaping from the palace and being rescued by Su Shen.
"On your marks, get ready, fire!"
When An Jin crawled out of the deep and long tunnel, his body was covered in yellow soil.
An Jin used to be a proud and arrogant woman, always surrounded by countless people. She had never been so disheveled before.
Given her personality, even after experiencing these changes, she wouldn't cry and whine like a daughter from an ordinary family.
She glanced back at the high palace walls and said, "Father, I will definitely fulfill your wish and make Daqi the most prosperous and powerful country."
"Search her! I refuse to believe she can sprout wings and escape far away!" A man nearby angrily ordered, "If Princess Jin escapes, you can expect His Majesty to destroy your entire family!"
An Jin hurriedly hid in the bushes and chuckled to himself, "I never thought my life was so valuable that so many people's families would have to be buried with me. In that case, I have to live even better."
As the weather gradually warms up, there are more mosquitoes outside. Although it can't compare to the height of summer yet, it's still enough to give you a headache.
An Jin was hiding in the bushes and her face was covered in bites, so much so that her original appearance was no longer recognizable.
"Cut!" Director Du shouted, calling to the makeup artist, "Go quickly and put the spotting on An Jin's face. Su Shen, get ready to enter."
Three to five minutes later, the group of people hurriedly finished their work and quickly left the scene.
An Jin was still squatting in the bushes when a boy walking his dog passed by on the street.
"Little guy, I've been feeding you for so many days, why do you still want to run outside? Tell me, what have I done wrong to you?" He tugged at the dog's leash, and the little dog whimpered twice.
Suddenly, it took off running and pounced into the roadside bushes.
