"Are you settling in well at school? This is your first time being away from home alone, and I was so worried about you. Here's something nice for you," said Xiao's mother, taking a cell phone from the cabinet. The phone box looked quite old. The phone itself was a flip phone with a small screen. She explained, "This was a gift from one of your aunts, someone I know. It's a bit old, but it still works. Your dad also bought a new phone, so you can call him if anything comes up."
Lu Qingyan took the phone and smiled, "Thank you, Mom." Although it wasn't as good as she had imagined, something was better than nothing.
Now that she has a cell phone, she can contact not only Xiao's father and mother, but also Xi Bo. It's a pity that she doesn't know Xi Bo's phone number yet.
She knew that Xi Bo had a cell phone; the first time she saw it, it was a rather compact model. At the time, Lu Qingyan was quite surprised and asked a silly question: "Is your master a very rich Taoist priest?"
Xi Bo explained, "Being a Taoist priest was just a side job for him; he was a famous painter who made money by selling his paintings."
Suddenly, Xiao Ke, who was on the bed, burst into tears. Her mother held her in her arms and comforted her, saying, "She must be hungry. Go to the kitchen and get the bottle. The formula should be ready by now." When Lu Qingyan came over, she looked out the window again and said, "Don't you like building snowmen? It seems like the snow has stopped now. You can go out and play."
Lu Qingyan was used to staying at home, but since Xiao's mother had said so, she was still going to go out for a few walks.
The snow stopped, but it was so thick that each step left a footprint. The village was surrounded by a vast expanse of white, and there weren't many people around.
There was only one person, quite far away, who seemed to be walking towards him.
At this moment, Lu Qingyan felt her heart burning. She looked at the figure and although she didn't know why he came here or could not see his face clearly, she knew that the person must be Xi Bo!
Time seemed to pass very slowly, and that person had been walking for so long without coming over. Time also seemed to pass very quickly, and before we knew it, that person was finally approaching.
It's really bad!
Lu Qingyan took a step forward and hugged him: "Xi Bo, why did you come here?"
The two had never been this intimate before, and Xi Bo was immediately flustered, his voice trembling as he spoke: "Xiao, Xiao Xin'er."
Lu Qingyan patted Xi Bo affectionately: "Hey, Xi Bo, we're so close, why do you still call me by my full name? You can just call me by my first name, right?"
"But, but it doesn't seem right for me to call you by your name?" Xi Bo hesitated.
Lu Qingyan advised, "What's wrong with that? A name is meant to be called. Call me by my name so I can hear it."
"Xin'er." Xi Bo heard his own voice, and at that moment, his heart seemed to start racing again. These two words flowed from between his teeth and settled in his heart. Although he didn't understand now, he would understand one day.
"Xi Bo, you still haven't told me how you got here?"
Can he say he came here to find her? It seems unlikely.
Xi Bo thought for a moment, and luckily there seemed to be a friend here: "I came here to find one of my uncles. My master is not here this year, so I need to find someone to spend the New Year with me."
Xi Bo spoke lightly, but it immediately brought tears to Lu Qingyan's eyes.
