Lu Qingyan turned her head and looked coldly at Bai Su.
"What's wrong?" Bai Su waved his hand in front of Lu Qingyan's eyes. "Why are you spacing out?"
"Did you just hear anything strange?"
Bai Su shook his head: "I didn't hear anything. What did you hear?"
Seeing that he didn't seem to be lying, Lu Qingyan shook her head: "Maybe I misheard? Let's go."
"Hey Youyan, are you afraid of bloodshed? Did you get scared after fighting those people?" Bai Su laughed. "You used to be alone, but now that I'm helping you, what's there to be afraid of? Anyway, they're already bloodthirsty, and even if we try to persuade them, they might not listen. Once we meet that mysterious person's requirements, we can make a wish and then we can know anything."
Lu Qingyan glanced at him but didn't say anything.
“Actually,” Bai Su sighed, “sometimes I doubt whether my judgment is correct. I have been looking for the so-called mastermind since that day, but I still have no clue.”
Are you going to give up?
"No, that's not true." Bai Su retorted, "I was just venting to you, and I'll continue after this topic is over."
Lu Qingyan smiled and nodded, saying, "As long as we can hold on, that's fine. There are still quite a few people outside who have designs on us, so you can't let those guys succeed."
Bai Su chuckled.
"Alright, where do we go next?" Bai Su looked at the magic wand in his hand, momentarily confused.
Lu Qingyan looked up at the gray sky and asked Bai Su, "Do you still remember where our earliest memories are? How did we get into that magic school?"
Bai Su smiled and said, "I really don't remember! It feels like a dream."
“Then, I think we should go back to that magic school and take a look,” Lu Qingyan suggested. “Perhaps the answer we’re looking for is actually there.”
After the killing game began, many people came to the streets, and the magic school became an empty campus.
Lu Qingyan didn't know what was there, but as the place where this massacre began, there must have been some clues left behind.
Bai Su shrugged: "What if we can't find anything?"
Lu Qingyan patted his shoulder: "Don't be so pessimistic, you'll know once you go and see for yourself."
"Alright then, I'll go with you on this trip."
The magic wands in Lu Qingyan and Bai Su's hands began to grow larger, and then they climbed onto them. Ten minutes later, they arrived at the magic school.
"Cough cough cough," Lu Qingyan coughed a few times and waved her hand: "What's going on? I feel that the dust here is much thicker than outside. I can't stand it even before I've gone in."
“When we were still learning magic here, we used magic to clean every day. Now that no one is here, it’s normal for it to look like this. It’s just that the time it took to get like this seems a bit unusual. The contrast with how clean it is outside is too great.” Bai Su’s eyes also became more serious.
He moved forward cautiously, afraid of encountering some kind of trap.
"Do you think there might really be a trap waiting for us here?" Bai Su joked. "But I doubt many people would be willing to venture into an environment like this."
As soon as Bai Su finished speaking, a gust of wind swept by, swirling the fallen leaves in the air before they fell back to the ground.
