Chapter 603 Contractual Marriage 16.32

Unfortunately, Lu Qingyan could never hear her shouts now.

Looking at Jinle's appearance, Lu Qingyan felt a surge of resentment welling up in her chest, and she almost wanted to tear the woman to pieces.

Calm down, calm down, I'm just Lu Qingyan.

Lu Qingyan repeatedly warned herself in her heart before she could suppress her resentment.

“You hit my car, so I brought you to the hospital. This is a hospital,” Lu Qingyan explained simply. “But I see that you don’t have any serious problems, so I think I don’t need to stay here.”

"Sister~" Jinle's voice was melodious and pleasant, but when she called out, Lu Qingyan felt goosebumps all over her body.

Knowing Jinle's plans, upon hearing her call out, Lu Qingyan involuntarily conjured up an image of an ancient concubine serving tea to the principal wife.

"What is it?" Lu Qingyan involuntarily took a few steps back.

"I just want to thank you, sister," Jinle said, her eyes brimming with tears. "If I hadn't met you, I probably wouldn't be alive today."

"Knock knock," came two knocks on the door, and two people in police uniforms came in. Lu Qingyan knew they probably came to ask about what happened back then.

Upon seeing them, Jinle excitedly backed away, asking, "What are you doing here? Who sent you?"

"Miss?" The newcomer looked at Jinle in surprise, not understanding how she had become like this. They weren't monsters, were they really that scary?

"It's just a small matter, why make such a big deal out of it? I'm fine now, what else do you need to investigate?"

She lowered her head slightly as she spoke: "Actually, this shouldn't be blamed on my sister. I was in a bad mood and wasn't paying attention while walking, which is why I got bumped into. I even made my sister take me to the hospital for a check-up. I'm so sorry for all of this. If you want to blame someone, blame me."

Well, it's not a question of whether it's strange or not, but whether she'll investigate or not. Since she's taking all the blame, there's no point in investigating this matter anymore.

They asked a few more questions and then left.

Jinle looked at Lu Qingyan timidly, her eyes as pitiful as a newborn fawn: "Sister, I'm sorry, I've caused you so much trouble."

Lu Qingyan sneered inwardly, "Heh, you were a big problem to begin with."

"Goodbye." Lu Qingyan waved and walked out of the ward, but she didn't leave immediately. Instead, she pressed herself against the wall, listening to the conversation inside. Goodbye? No, she hoped they would never meet again.

[128, shouldn't I be clinging to this opportunity now? Why am I backing down? A golden opportunity is right in front of me, and you want me to give it up? What exactly are you trying to do by letting me get hit by a car? Do you think it's fun and are you just messing with me?] Jinle said angrily.

"Are you brain-dead?" 128 said, exasperated. "What are you trying to do by clinging to them like this? Who's this familiar with you on a first meeting? Your overly enthusiastic behavior is practically telling everyone you're up to something, that you're approaching them with ulterior motives!"

[So what if you have an ulterior motive? Does getting along with someone have to be all about scheming?] Jinle denied it. Perhaps some of his vows would be overturned in the future, but he could still use a different approach at the beginning, like just punching them.

Of course, this is not a scene that most people would like to see.
