Lu Mingyuan immediately cried out that he was wronged: "Mrs. Lu, you can't be so shameless. I only drove that car out for a few times, and the rest of the time it was in your hands."
“Sigh,” Lu Qingyan sighed, unwillingly saying, “I was just admiring Mr. Lu’s charming demeanor.”
There was no response for a while, and Lu Qingyan thought that the person had fallen asleep from exhaustion after answering the phone. But then he suddenly said, "I only love you."

"Why did your parents suddenly come back?"
"Of course I'm coming back to see my daughter-in-law," Lu Mingyuan said, tapping the table with his hand. Even through the phone, Lu Qingyan could faintly hear the voice coming from the other end.
"Mrs. Lu, are you nervous?" Lu Mingyuan asked with a smile.
"What's there to be nervous about?" Lu Qingyan joked. "My parents aren't man-eating tigers, what do I have to be afraid of? What, are you nervous? Did you two give you some childhood trauma?"
“Mrs. Lu, just say what you want to say, ask what you want to ask, don’t just imagine things. My parents are very loving, but my mother is a bit strong-willed and she might not be easy to talk to. My father, on the other hand, is easygoing and won’t find fault with you. Actually, they’ve been here for several days now, but I don’t know what they were thinking, they only just called to contact me.”
Lu Qingyan thought they would have to wait another day or two to arrive, but they had arrived much earlier than expected. Hearing Lu Mingyuan's words, she immediately became a little nervous: "So, when will Mom and Dad arrive?"
“We have to wait another two or three hours. I heard from Dad that Mom is bringing someone else with her this time, saying that person is Mom’s savior.” Lu Mingyuan seemed very unhappy as he said this.
"What happened to your savior?" Lu Qingyan asked, following his words.
“It’s not that I want to mistreat her, but it’s always a bit awkward to bring an outsider into a family dinner. In my opinion, it would be fine to invite her to our home at another time, but I don’t know what Mom is thinking. I heard from Dad that she’s very attached to that savior.”
Lu Qingyan raised an eyebrow. Since she could use the word "sticky," it seemed that Lu Mingyuan, the biological mother, was even more affectionate towards that so-called savior than her son.
“Mrs. Lu, I don’t want to speculate about other people’s good intentions, but I always feel uneasy and uncomfortable when I think about that person. It seems that I will have to ask you to take matters into your own hands and help me keep an eye on things.” Lu Mingyuan said helplessly, “Go and see if that person’s appearance next to my mother was an accident or something done by someone.”
